Murphy's not a bad pick at all at this point. He definitely can play a role at the MLB level.

Geeze, my roster better get heading to a retirement home then.
No real splits the last two season, lowered his walk rate each of the last three seasons, his FB hasn't had any significant decline (and I wasn't aware 30 was ancient, since your 33, you might want to be worried bro :]) and he's at the back end of my pen. It's the 23rd round, I just want a guy who's likely to actually be pitching in 3 years and I think Blevins is going to last at least that long.Eck'sSneakyCheese said:
Yeah? An ancient lefty that can't throw over 89? Do one of your other players need a chaperone?

I'm certain I missed a bunch of relievers. I've done a shitty job of sorting them this time around. (Then again, my pen sucked last time so whatever) If Blevins keeps it around an ERA of 4 for the next few years I'll be happy.Eck'sSneakyCheese said:
I was just fucking around. I feel like I'm 70 so, yeah after 30 it's downhill. I've beat the shit out of myself though. Being a mechanic for almost 15 years will destroy you.
There are a few other relievers I would've taken over him though. One LH especially.

But yeah, I know you're just being a dick, it's cool
Yeah, I wasn't looking for anything special, just wanted someone solid to throw innings at the back end of my pen.Frank said:
Blevins is a decent pick.
Damn you. I had assumed I could wait on him forever given his offensive performance in 2013.Why Not Grebeck? said:Martin Maldonado, Backup Catcher
He was wretched with the bat last season, and his minor league track record confirms that it probably wasn't a fluke. He was good in 2012, though, and he's one of the better defensive back-ups in the league. He's claimed to be in the best shape of his life this season, which I know because 99% of the articles I found about him were making snarky comments about that quote. I have him projected at +1 WAR, the best backup catcher left, so I'm taking him before the well runs completely dry. He's only 30, so he should be adequate for the next couple of years at least.
