If they only could have gotten Reggie Jackson, Reggie Sanders, Reggie Ruckers and Reggie Watts instead of the other 4 guys the Pats would have had a clean sweep.
Not to go all Ben Roethlisberger, but he wears #9 in honor of whom?I think I know who Brees is rooting for in the Super Bowl (this was at today’s game)
The Red Sox hat is an indication that he's cheering for the Pats. He's the franchise guy for another team so won't outright wear a Patriots hat. (h/t reddit for pointing this out). Not to go all Ben Roethlisberger, but he wears #9 in honor of whom?
Still, he may root for his conference team, team that eliminated him, kind of traditional things to do.
Will Blackmon must be rooting for John Johnson like too many BC Eagles fans were for Matty Ice. Hate it.
Jerod Mayo transformed into Urkel. Dude was juicing up a storm. There seems to be a whole lot of nothing happening at this send off rally.
That long TD to Muhammad came right at me. It was such a weird feeling cause that team hadn’t trailed in a game for like a million straight days.NFL Network is doing 30 minute recaps of past Super Bowls. They just did the one with Carolina.
That game was AWESOME. I forgot a lot of that, but specifically I forgot that almost backbreaking 85 yard TD catch. It was just blocked from my mind. That Brady INT at the goalline reminded me of KC last week.
Mistakes were made.
Yep me too, I was in that end zone. I remember they flashed the graphic that the Pats hadn't trailed in a game... since the game in Houston back in November, which I was also at. So I felt a calmness. That long TD to Muhammad came right at me. It was such a weird feeling cause that team hadn’t trailed in a game for like a million straight days.
I’ve been thinking that this week. Thankfully Brady got his usual brain dead SB INT out of the way a game early this year.NFL Network is doing 30 minute recaps of past Super Bowls. They just did the one with Carolina.

Delhommme played the game of his life. And still lost. And it basically ended his career. That's like David Duval's career once Tiger came along. Duval's best wasn't good enough and it collapsed him.The slo-mo on the Jake Delhomme bomb might have been the most textbook spiral I've ever seen
His TD pass to Smith was incredible too.Delhommme played the game of his life. And still lost. And it basically ended his career. That's like David Duval's career once Tiger came along. Duval's best wasn't good enough and it collapsed him.
Yup. Just an amazing game and great atmosphere. The injuries to Harrison and Wilson really opened up things for Carolina’s offense. His TD pass to Smith was incredible too.
But what is most amazing is that the game of his life happened after he started off 1-9 for 1 yard. Carolina's first 6 drives combined for 20 plays for -7 total yards, one first down (via penalty), 3 sacks (including a strip sack / turnover). The Pats D was demolishing that offense in a way I have never seen before. Then on a 3rd and 5 from their own 10 yardline, right before the 2 minute warning, Delhomme hit Ricky Proehl for 13 yards with a juggling catch, and the flip switched for Delhomme and the Panthers offense. After starting 1-9 for 1 yard, Delhomme finished 15-24 for 322 yards and 3 TDs. If Proehl hadn't made that catch, I wonder if the Pats blow that game wide open. They would have gotten the ball back in Carolina territory at the 2 minute warning up 7-0.
Great game though.
The Pats safety situation at the end of the game was horrific. If that game went to OT and Carolina got the ball the Pats would have lost.Yup. Just an amazing game and great atmosphere. The injuries to Harrison and Wilson really opened up things for Carolina’s offense.
LMAO, I finished watching the one vs. The Eagles, SB 39, no interest in SB 40, so I switched over to MLBN and they're showing greatest comebacks (2004 of course). Just can't get away from shows about Boston/New England sports successes.NFL Network is doing 30 minute recaps of past Super Bowls. They just did the one with Carolina.

OK. I hope his support for the Pats makes the difference. Well, shouldn't be that close. The Red Sox hat is an indication that he's cheering for the Pats. He's the franchise guy for another team so won't outright wear a Patriots hat. (h/t reddit for pointing this out).
Funny but probably not for those who are trying to use it. About two hours ago I passed the Pats’ bus procession that was leaving Gillette. My daughter commented that the police procession on Route 1 was excessive. What was done in LA goes to an entirely new level of silliness.CHP stopped all traffic on the 405 so the rams could get to the airport.
There's nothing silly about the CHP:Funny but probably not for those who are trying to use it. About two hours ago I passed the Pats’ bus procession that was leaving Gillette. “Ended his career” is a little harsh. Carolina made a few more playoff runs with Delhomme (even made a conference championship) before he self-destructed in the 2008 divisional against Arizona.Delhommme played the game of his life. And still lost. And it basically ended his career. That's like David Duval's career once Tiger came along. Duval's best wasn't good enough and it collapsed him.
The game ending Hail Mary was so perfect, with two Patriots receivers right there for the deflection. Ugh.Now it's the 2nd Patriots/Giants Super Bowl on NFL network.
Aaron Hernandez catching TD passes. Man, that feels like about 47 years ago, not 7.
The way it was filmed and shown during this broadcast was pretty impressive. That ball hung up for a long long time. Gronk was right there, but just one step slow to it.The game ending Hail Mary was so perfect, with two Patriots receivers right there for the deflection. Ugh.
That is awesome; so if the AFC holds on, we get home field advantage next week, right?NFC being shut out in the pro bowl, in the 3rd quarter.
17 nothing, AFC leading. That's awesome.
It was embarrassing. I've never been embarrassed for a player before, but that was just awful.I still haven't really forgiven Cooks for that horrific SB52 he had
I believe that is the case. And if the NFC is shut down, the Rams only play with 10. Let's go Mahomes! That is awesome; so if the AFC holds on, we get home field advantage next week, right?
I look forward to a report on the 6:00PM news tonight as the opening story where some reporter I've never heard of interviews random fans leaving the rally he asks some female fan from Saugus "So what did you think of the rally!?!?" and she replies "It was awesome, Patriots all the way next week, WOOOOOOOOO!!!!!", all the while the Patriots hat and pink Brady jersey she bought in the pro shop earlier in the morning still have the price tags hanging off of them.Damn, fans. Act like you’ve been there before.
