I don’t think I’ve ever started a Celtics game thread before. Let’s see how I do.

Pelicans are funny birds. Watching them awkwardly plunge into the water and fill up their oversized throat with sea water and fish is an amusing way to spend a few minutes. Pelicans are year round residents of New Orleans. I visited the city once for Jazz Fest and I don't remember seeing pelicans but it was about 20 years ago and to be fair I was quite high for much of my visit. On this day the Big Easy colony of Pelecanus occidentalis will be eradicated. Sack the stocky seabirds.

My wife and I spent a bunch of evenings at Point Lobos in San Francisco with a picnic basket and a bottle of wine watching the pelicans and the sun setting over the Pacific.

I was convinced the Celtics would beat Atlanta by 20+ in the last game. I won’t make another guess here but a comfortable win would be nice.

Also, technical fouls are a fucking joke. Some players are allowed to scream at the refs but a wave of the hand is an automatic tech?
