Just wanting to send out a reminder as I'm sure many will want to tune in. Given Jerry's 40 year association with the team, I thought this might be more appropriate here than in the media thread.
They just broke into it on MLB.tv.If anyone outside of Boston has MLB extra innings they're showing the Remy tribute on the station that'll show the game. It doesn't seem like MLB tv is showing it.
Bradford thinking the same way.I would absolutely love to see someone execute a perfect drag bunt down the first baseline tonight.
Was Kristen Mastroianni not a sideline reporter? I don't recall.Every NESN sideline reporter from Remys time is there.

It definitely isn't all of them, Hazel Mae and Jamie Erdahl at least aren't there. Was Kristen Mastroianni not a sideline reporter? I don't recall.
Odd tweet from Caron in that case.It definitely isn't all of them, Hazel Mae and Jamie Erdahl at least aren't there.
I think Hazel works for the Blue Jays in some capacity. It definitely isn't all of them, Hazel Mae and Jamie Erdahl at least aren't there.
The twitter thread above mentions that Hazel Mae does Blue Jays pregame show in the Jay's Toronto studio, and she was doing that for this game as well. So I guess it depends how you define "there".It definitely isn't all of them, Hazel Mae and Jamie Erdahl at least aren't there.
I think they filled in occasionally. It was never their regular job with NESN though. It definitely isn't all of them, Hazel Mae and Jamie Erdahl at least aren't there.
Yeah, that broke me too. Damn well done by NESNBuenos noches, amigos.
Goddammit, that did it.
JBJ with the shift on would be ballsy. Perhaps not smart, but ballsy.Bradford thinking the same way.

Only question is who? Bogaerts makes the most sense, but not a lefty.
Definitely cool, but he seemed to be laboring by the time he got to his seat. Kinda wish he'd been at the dugout with the rest just so he had someone to walk with him.So cool to introduce Yaz coming in from left field. I was hoping he'd feign fielding the ball and throwing a strike to home!
That would have just about killed him. I think we got all that we could have hoped for out of that moment. So cool to introduce Yaz coming in from left field. I was hoping he'd feign fielding the ball and throwing a strike to home!
Evans was a rookie in '73 and Lynn and Rice joined him in '75. As a kid, I thought they would be together forever.Watching this reminded me so much of why I cared so deeply about the Red Sox growing up. Those players - Remy, Rice, Lynn, Evans, Burleson, Yaz, Stanley, and others - they weren't heroes, they were Gods. So much of my world, my sense of right/wrong, justice and injustice was wrapped up in following that team from 1967 on through the 70s. Remy's passing puts a denoument to that time of my life. Gods aren't supposed to die.
I'll reserve judgment for now, but there better be a very good reason for that.
Yah. And seems like we are going to get one soon.I'll reserve judgment for now, but there better be a very good reason for that.
I dunno, I think a lot of people would question why Don was ignoring the moment rather than assume the Sox would disgracefully not show his video tribute. Any blame pie is heavily weighted to the Sox unless something very compelling comes to light. In my opinion. This is (potentially) weak on the Sox’ part, but I also think it’s (potentially) weak on Orsilo’s part to do this tonight. Final judgement will be held back until facts known.
