And now out of the conference!Holy hell.
That's a blockbuster. Is it safe to now profess my love for PK? I've quietly admitted it in the past, but now that he's no longer a Hab - what a guy, and what a player.
Beyond that there are cap-recapture issues if Weber retires early. This is unspeakably bad for Montreal.Jonathan Willis @JonathanWillis 14m14 minutes ago
Montreal just acquired the age 31-40 seasons of Weber in exchange for the age 27-31 seasons from Subban.
@PedroSpecialK, we need that GIF of Gauthier laughing immediately. Also, someone should be sure Pierre Gautier isn't wearing a Marc Bergevin mask.
HAHAHAHAHA. Um, no.
Three, they dumped Chelios for a past his prime Denis Savard (who they should have drafted a decade earlier). The Habs organization is the biggest bunch of egotistical maniacs in sports. They've now traded away the last two generational talents for minor squabbles with management. How did the Patrick Roy trade work out for them?
I can't find it right now. Dammit.@PedroSpecialK, we need that GIF of Gauthier laughing immediately.
Mick Jagger was bangin' Margaret Trudeau and they still let the Stones tour in Canada.I can't fucking believe it.
Although rumour is he fucked the president of the team's wife.
I did all I could to stammer out my wife's name and then "Hockey! Hockey! Hockey!".Someone check on Bongeur. Also, someone should be sure Pierre Gautier isn't wearing a Marc Bergevin mask.
What fucking chemistry issue? If somebody's got a problem in that team and their name isn't Carey Price, trade *that* guy. There were also rumblings of major chemistry issues in their locker room so maybe this has something to do with that? Subban's NTC (or NMC?) kicked in this week IIRC so this was the time to move him, I suppose.
Wouldn't Nashville have the cap penalties if he retires? Same reason the Hawks absolutely cannot trade Hossa? Please correct me if I'm wrong, I'm no expert.Beyond that there are cap-recapture issues if Weber retires early. This is unspeakably bad for Montreal.
Well there are plenty of articles out there. For example - http://montrealgazette.com/sports/hockey/nhl/montreal-canadiens/stu-cowan-signs-point-to-divisions-in-canadiens-locker-roomWhat fucking chemistry issue? This is exactly how I feel. I'm not a huge NHL fan, and I understand I'm supposed to hate the Canadiens, but Subban always seemed like a pretty stand-up guy and was just a force when he was on the ice. If I were a jersey-buying kind of guy, I'd get a Subban Predators jersey. I guess that's the same as I'd wear it if I got one as a gift.Holy hell.

I believe so, but even injured guys with no chance of ever returning to the ice tend not to retire before their contract is up.Wouldn't Nashville have the cap penalties if he retires? Same reason the Hawks absolutely cannot trade Hossa? Please correct me if I'm wrong, I'm no expert.
