Ah, yes, the legendary ballroom dancing regimen of Kendrick Bourne. I remember talk about him being the first one in the ballroom at 5am back in his days with the Niners.

He's my favorite player on the team and if I were to get a new jersey, it'd be JudonI have not replaced my Brady 12 Pats jersey yet, but after originally thinking I'd go 10 Jones, I think a nice 9 Judon jersey is the way to go.
Gotta have the red sweater to go underneath it.He's my favorite player on the team and if I were to get a new jersey, it'd be Judon
Rookies are exciting, but usually arent contributors for a bit.
Judon is a fucking animal and my favorite kind of edge setter. Hes KVN on steroids. He isnt a Von Miller, Cam Wake, or Justin Houston. He doesnt have the kind of explosive pass rushing moves that those guys have.
But hes one of the rare edge players who goes through the progressions the right way and has enough skill to still get pressure. He'll engage at the snap, but keep his space to digest the play and determine run/pass. If it's a run to his side, the edge will be collapsed and he WILL force you in. If the tackle drops into pass protect, he digests that quickly and has a good punch and first step. He's not "pinning his ears back" and selling out for the pass rush. Hes patient, but still effective when trying to get pressure.
Need him to play zone? He can cover the vert hook/hook curl/curl flat/seam flat well. Need to add some layers against a top TE? Dont line the TE up inline, because Judon will punch and chip you off your route.
Hes a COMPLETE player on the edge. He can do it all. Again, hes not going to get you 15 sacks, but with him on one side and KVN on the other, they're edges are well rounded and are positive against the run and pass.
So. Yeah. Judon.
Not a bad call, although he just might go ahead and end up with 15 sacks. 9.5 in 10 games is pretty damn elite.I kissed Judons ass and said prior to the start of the season that he was my favorite addition by a mile.
And I still under sold him.
Godamn is he a pleasure to watch.
I’m in the same boat. I’ve only had two in my lifetime, Bledsoe and Brady. I value longevity in my threads, both those I post in and those I wear, but I’ve been considering a short-term Judon fix since earlier in the season. So torn.I have not replaced my Brady 12 Pats jersey yet, but after originally thinking I'd go 10 Jones, I think a nice 9 Judon jersey is the way to go.
Most of the things that look like holding calls on Judon actually aren't because of how often he executes a rip move as his go-to. Here's the exception from the NFL rulebook:I don't know what he needs to do to draw a holding call though, good grief.
If you watch a lot of his tape, you can see that he loves to use the rip move off the edge, which is basically taking his inside arm and ripping upwards, which has the effect of displacing the blocker's outside hand from his body. But in doing so, it often puts the outside arm across his chest, which looks like a hold, but is caused by his rip move successfully dislodging the hand in the first place. So while this appears to be a hold, it's actually not because of the exception in the rulebook for the rip move.if, during a defensive charge, a defensive player uses a “rip” technique that puts an offensive player in a position that would normally be holding.
I am close--I have had two Coates 87 and Brady 12.I’m in the same boat. I’ve only had two in my lifetime, Bledsoe and Brady. I value longevity in my threads, both those I post in and those I wear, but I’ve been considering a short-term Judon fix since earlier in the season. So torn.
Edit: I lied, I forgot I also had a Welker.
Zolack called into the show this morning, because he couldn't get back to Boston in time, due to the fact that the Fifth Quarter ran until almost 2:00 a.m. last night. The reason: The Pats sent like 13 different players up to the podium to speak to the media last night, which Zolack said was by far the most that he had ever seen. This team is having fun right now. Sorry Lane Johnson.He. Is. So. Fun.
I love this team

The only thing more fun than winning is winning when no one expects it. It wouldn't shock me at all if there were bouts of joylessness among the roster over the last 20 years, despite (and perhaps partially because of) the constant winning and playoff success. This year, no matter how it ends, is different.Zolack called into the show this morning, because he couldn't get back to Boston in time, due to the fact that the Fifth Quarter ran until almost 2:00 a.m. last night. There's a lot of truth to this. I didn't even watch the 2019 playoff game against the Titans - literally the only playoff game since 1994 that I haven't watched. Part of that was being ridiculously spoiled by all of the success. But like you said this year will be different - I am really hoping to watch a playoff game, even if it is "only" Wild Card Weekend. The only thing more fun than winning is winning when no one expects it. There wasn't the same level of previous success, but look no further than Fenway Park for the joy of surprise. The only thing more fun than winning is winning when no one expects it. He's like a vaccinated, more effective Cam Newton.He. Is. So. Fun.

I like how he is effectively subtweeting his family. He also almost guaranteed that someone will put mac and cheese on or near his plate on Thursday.Do not, and I mean DO NOT, serve mac and cheese at Matthew Judon's Thanksgiving table.

The Elvis Andrus response to Judon’s Adrian Beltre.I like how he is effectively subtweeting his family. He also almost guaranteed that someone will put mac and cheese on or near his plate on Thursday.
Absolutely, in the South and especially in the AA community. Is mac n cheese a common side on Thanksgiving? I don't believe I've ever heard of that. Weirdest thing I've come across is my wife's side of the family serves a completely traditional Thanksgiving dinner, and then homemade coleslaw.
On Thanksgiving? GTFO with that negativity.Isn’t stuffing and sweet potato enough starch?
This is a serious question? Is the most popular casserole popular on casserole day?Is mac n cheese a common side on Thanksgiving?
It was serious, yeah. My only experience with Thanksgiving dinners involve turkey, gravy, mashed potatoes, stuffing, cranberry sauce, squash, turnip, carrots, peas, dinner rolls, etc. And coleslaw lol. I guess we are not casserole people. This is a serious question? Is the most popular casserole popular on casserole day?
What does Mac n cheese have to do with alcoholics?Absolutely, in the South and especially in the AA community.
Definitely. My North Carolinian grandmother always put out Mac and cheese for thanksgiving and Christmas.Absolutely, in the South and especially in the AA community.
I didn't know where Judon grew up, but as soon as he said "dressing" I knew he was from the South.Absolutely, in the South and especially in the AA community.
Saw that too and made the assumption as well.I didn't know where Judon grew up, but as soon as he said "dressing" I knew he was from the South.
It depends on your consistency preferences. There’s a world of difference between black people Mac & Cheese (blocks) and white people Mac & Cheese (runny). Find a friend or SO who knows how to fuse the two and you are a blessed person. It pains me to even write the words, but Matthew Judon is wrong. Simply wrong.
Mac n Cheese is one of the greatest foods ever made. Lobster Mac, Crabmeat Mac, Short Rib Mac, regular old Mac n Cheese. The list is endless and awesome.
We're going to my sister-in-law's house (and brother-in-laws', because fuck you, that's what I call them) for Thanksgiving, and my wife is never, ever allowed to cook anything. My nieces requested we bring one item, the Mac n Cheese from Butcher Boy in North Andover.
I could eat my weight in Lobster Mac n Cheese.
I don't discriminate when it comes to Mac n Cheese. Runny, blocks, combined, they are all fucking awesome, and Matthew Judon is still wrong. It depends on your consistency preferences. You tell him.I don't discriminate when it comes to Mac n Cheese. Runny, blocks, combined, they are all fucking awesome, and Matthew Judon is still wrong.
Counselor, Mr. Judon specifically limits his definition of Mac n Cheese to "just noodles and cheese." Your introduction of featured third ingredients is improper as outside the scope of his clearly articulated derision. It pains me to even write the words, but Matthew Judon is wrong. Simply wrong.

Dude is fucking right, macaroni and cheese is a bullshit Thanksgiving side. Also, most people ARE lactose intolerant to some extent, although I don’t know how much lactose is left in cheese.Do not, and I mean DO NOT, serve mac and cheese at Matthew Judon's Thanksgiving table.

There’s not a single kind of potato that is as good as Mac n cheese. As much as I love bb and judon, they’re way off baseLooks like Matt Judon unloading a bunch of truth. That's what I see happening.
Also want to give a shout out to Belichick, who when asked his favorite Thanksgiving side was basically like: "potatoes, I don't even care what kind, just give me all of the potatoes, inject starch directly into my veins please, thanks." The man always knows the correct answer.
This is the best answer. Mac and cheese is a vehicle. Butter toasted bread crumbs on top, maybe a little toasted garlic is the most basic way to elevate this dish. Without help it can get rekt. The thing is, he’s right. Sure if you put lobster or short ribs in it it’s great. But… man it’s just noodles.
Team Judon.
