Cardboard fans are coming to Rakuten Monkeys' home games! For roughly $200 USD, fans (group of 4) can submit their photos and have their cardboard cutouts to appear in the stands. According to the team, the new cardboard fans will make their #CPBL debut on April 17.
Fucking Elephant jerks.
This thread turned to bestiality fairly quickly for a non-P&G thread.I'm all in on the monkeys
This is hilarious. How often does each individual fan group get on TV per game? And how many games does your $200 buy?I'm partial to the Monkeys only for their brilliant cardboard fans idea:

Come. At. Me.I'm all in on the monkeys
Yes! They also have former Sox farmhand Che-Hsuan Lin in CF.Fubon Guardians was the team that had Manny Ramirez on it back when they were called the Rhinos, right? I'm rooting for that one.
Where are their masks? NESN showed a video of the "fans" with masks.I'm partial to the Monkeys only for their brilliant cardboard fans idea:

Expanding the zone 200% is one way to speed up the game!
Woah - watched a bit, but turned it off due to technical difficulties in the 8th. I think the score was 12-3. I did see the Fubon Guardians' Hu Chin-lung hit his 1,000th hit (fastest ever in the TCPB)!Final: Monkeys 12 Guardians 9
Pretty slick production, replay reviews, etc. No fans, everyone wearing masks except players, managers and umps.
Fubon Guardians was the team that had Manny Ramirez on it back when they were called the Rhinos, right? I'm rooting for that one.
OK, this was all I needed to know. GO GUARDIANS! MAY FUBON MAKE THE WORLD A BETTER PLACE! POSITIVE ENERGY!Yes! They also have former Sox farmhand Che-Hsuan Lin in CF.

I believe streams are actually ongoing for all teams, even before May 1. It’s only the English language broadcast that’s on temporary hiatus, and only currently available for the Monkeys.CPBL Twitter streams should be returning first week of May, I believe. The Guardians will be having their home games streamed in addition to the Monkeys.
https://en.yna.co.kr/view/AEN20200427008600315?section=sports/sportsThe U.S. sports media giant ESPN is nearing a deal to broadcast South Korean baseball games to its American audience this season, an industry source told Yonhap News Agency on Monday.
The source, who requested anonymity because the deal wasn't finalized as of Monday afternoon, said ESPN could air multiple Korea Baseball Organization (KBO) games per week. The exact duration of the deal and proposed financial terms weren't immediately clear.
Paging @Conigliaro's Potential , hehe. They are looking for more English speaking announcers, as they realize they are the only thing for baseball fans.
