At least the Mets are getting Bumgarner to throw pitches now. This might be a soccer score for awhile, Mets will probably go to the pen first given Syndergaard's pitch count.

Thank God we got to watch the pitcher flail at a curveball to end the inning. That wouldn't have been possible without the NL giving us the privilege to observe such mastery of game theory.

Bumgarner's isn't that much lower.

No one is saying he should be an everyday DH, but those power numbers are impressive, especially since two of them are off Kershaw, one off Greinke, one off DeGrom...

There is no such thing as a good hitting pitcher. Good by pitcher standards is below average shortstop territory.
