I only ask because I don't have Sky here in the UK and have taken to watching a stream of the NBC coverage and I have to say it's quite impressive - though I'm sure you can get better analysts than Messrs Earle & Mustoe. Fancy taking another Robbie off our hands (Savage)?
It's also a bit galling that you get better live coverage over there than I do here.
On the other hand, you can get access to all the game replays on Apple TV for free even if you don't have the channel and aren't authorized with your cable provider.DLew On Roids said:The one downside is that NBC is pretty difficult about streaming. I was traveling and wanted to push the stream from my iPhone onto the HD screen in my room--no dice, the app won't let you. But that's a minor gripe.

NBC's versions of MOTD are hosted by Rebecca Lowe with commentary from the analysts working that weekend (Kyle Martino, either of the 2 Robbies)fletcherpost said:And...do you get MOTD2, it's the Sunday Show, with Mark Chapman, and two pundits from the BBC stable? They cover the Sunday matches in detail then do the goals from Saturday, so the punditry is often more detailed cos less games and it's a 1 hour show, no adverts (in the UK). Anyway, keep an eye out for Danny Murphy, he was on Sunday's MOTD2; he's the best MOTD pundit but tends not to get the big gigs, Shearer is the big name but he's not the best pundit. Also, credit to Jermaine Jenas, who's back on the MOTD pundit roster, he's a natural. I still miss Hansen.

FWIW, the NBC sports live extra streaming to my roku2 was amazing this weekend.
You do need to have NBC Sports in your cable package and a participating cable provider though to watch the live streams (Comcast will work). It's one of those apps that uses your cable login, ala HBO Go.The Allented Mr Ripley said:Live Extra is an app you can DL to your PC or mobile device to watch a stream.
DLew On Roids said:But unless you're wedded to having DVR capabilties in any room, paying cable box lease fees is insane when you could buy a Roku with the same money in three months. Plus the Roku can take a Chromecast or Plex feed.
actually, what I'm looking for is called Extra Time, not Live Extrathe1andonly3003 said:at one point during the 1st season, you could watch live all other games by going through the On Demand menu, last season I noticed that was only in HD only, and this season is completely gone (apparently)...or am I just looking at the wrong places this season?
