Kind of feels like the Pep era is winding down...they've become a bit predictable and don't seem to be able to match the required game to game effort levels. Whether that's injuries and long term exhaustion or them starting to tire of Pep, I don't know.Just a really labored season for City. Bad injuries and bad form, can’t really get into gear
For a second week in a row, it doesn’t even work on my Roku. Having to run a choppy stream from a laptop. I’m guessing NBC is going cheap on their CDN.NBC Sports Gold does not have a great frame rate today, eh?
197 points or whatever it is plus every domestic cup will grind a team down. I think it might be too early to pronounce the group or the coach incompatible. It may just be one of those things where the champion just couldn’t muster enough to give it a go. Feels like it happens in most sports. More of a concern is that with such a leaky back line the European campaign will falter as well.Kind of feels like the Pep era is winding down...they've become a bit predictable and don't seem to be able to match the required game to game effort levels. Feels like they could use a real freshening up. Players or coach.
The picture itself is still clearer than anything I ever had on broadcast. The ball literally disappears in flight, however. For a second week in a row, it doesn’t even work on my Roku. Having to run a choppy stream from a laptop. I’m guessing NBC is going cheap on their CDN.
never have a problem on Apple TV, fwiwThe picture itself is still clearer than anything I ever had on broadcast. The ball literally disappears in flight, however.
In the space of three (?) years, we’ve gone from having every EPL game reliably available for the cost of a cable subscription to needing two sub fees and crossing fingers that the “premium” channel actually works.
City currently look like pre-Van Dijk Liverpool. Exciting attack, terrifying defense. A lack of confidence in the back completely transforms a team. The goalkeeper tries to be pitch perfect, the defenders start playing deeper to compensate for leaks... It snowballs.<snip>
“This could help Brighton.”That is some HORSESHIT from Atkinson. What the fuck is he thinking?
the players are all a year older. Some are still in their prime obviously but they all have a lot of mileage. Few have their best days still ahead of them. They’re a half step slower. City needs new blood.Kind of feels like the Pep era is winding down...they've become a bit predictable and don't seem to be able to match the required game to game effort levels. Between that and Atkinson’s VAR debacle with Firmino, I’m feeling Liverpool are more than a little hard done by this guy.“This could help Brighton.”
He also called 14 fouls on Liverpool to Man U’s 6 in the October draw when Liverpool had far more possession.Between that and Atkinson’s VAR debacle with Firmino, I’m feeling Liverpool are more than a little hard done by this guy.
I don’t think anybody is complaining about the red. Atkinson participating in what amounted to a trick play, however, is a problem.Liverpool of all clubs complaining about the refs is rich.
also, that's as clear a red as it gets, it's a goalkeeper handling outside the box to deny a goalscoring opportunity.
Death. It's so tough to be a Liverpool fan.
I see no issue with that restart.I don’t think anybody is complaining about the red. Atkinson participating in what amounted to a trick play, however, is a problem.
Exactly. The referee never blows for a restart until the defense is set.I don’t think anybody is complaining about the red. Atkinson participating in what amounted to a trick play, however, is a problem.
They do and they should. Quick restarts are common, just not usually near the box, because the defense is smart enough to assign a player to get in the way until the wall is set.Exactly. The referee never blows for a restart until the defense is set.
Not at all surprised to see the ABL crowd has no problem, though.
They don't need to wait for the defense to get set at all. A whistle doesn't need to be blown. That's why defenders stand in front of the ball to cause a delay to allow them to get set.Exactly. The referee never blows for a restart until the defense is set.
