Holy fucking shit.

Davidson escapes after trailing La Salle for all but 18 seconds of this game, and by as many as 18 points. They toss a layup off the backboard that bounced around atop the rim like a TPiR Plinko chip for the final 3 seconds before dropping in for the winning bucket.

I was 100% convinced we'd see a major A-10 upset in this game, but instead it's ten straight wins for the Wildcats.

Davidson's good at that.  They came back from 13 down against Appalachian State in the '13 Socon semifinals, too.

LSU may be out after a bad loss to a 13th seed. They may not have been in anyway, but had they won that, even a loss to Kentucky puts them in mid-40s for RPI and that's on the bubble.

Maryland outlasts Indiana in the Big 10 quarters. Maryland basketball is undefeated in the history of the Big 10 Tournament.

Heh.

And if Indiana is given a bid a lot of teams that get snubbed will be pointing straight at them.

Wyoming & Boise State tied at 57. Cowboys' ball with 9 sec left. It's on CBSSN.

EDIT - Josh Adams' fallaway three fronts the rim at the buzzer. On to OT. Only two Wyoming players touched the ball on that possession, and until the shot the ball stayed within the same 5-foot radius on the court.

Notre Dame from the second half against Miami last night is making an unwelcome appearance.

UConn up 54-52 on Cinci with 29 sec left.

EDIT - Boatright gets fouled but misses the front end of a 1-and-1, and the Bearcats tie it on a put-back at the other end. Huskies ball with 13.5 sec left/

Arizona up 66-64 with 19 sec left vs UCLA. The Bruins just fouled, and Zona can seal it at the line.

EDIT - And they do just that, 70-64.

Hawaii's looking to pull off the upset as well, leading Big West #1 UC-Davis 58-56. Still plenty of time in that one (1:18).

Wyoming's going to upset Boise. Up 5 with 10.6 left in OT.

I may have spoken too soon. A WY defender just committed the world's stupidest foul -- on the Boise inbound play at halfcourt, sending the Broncos' best player to the line and bleeding just a half-second of clock. Both FTs are good, and now it's a 3-point game. Jesus...

EDIT - And they hang on for the W. The Cowboys will play for the MWC auto-bid vs either SDSU or Colorado St. The bubble is getting smaller.

And the Warriors do it, 65-58. They'll get either UC-Irvine or UC-Santa Barbara for the title tomorrow night.

UC-Davis becomes the latest NIT auto-bid qualifier,

Iowa State just beat Oklahoma on a game that should be in OT right now. Spangler took a beautiful pass cutting through the lane, but bungled the uncontested layup that would have tied it at the buzzer. Unreal.

The Cyclones play for the Big 12 title against the Jayhawks.

So predictable. Duke's about to make it a 2-point game with 1:48 left.

So, since I'm going to dinner tomorrow night in Philly, why not catch the Harvard/Yale playoff game right?

Jay Bilas just relayed the "Laettner walked on his hands the length of the court!!1!" story for the 17th time this postseason.

Good Christ, he's insufferable.

The good news is the Irish look like they're going to hold on, up 70-64 with 22 secs left.

ACC Network on WSBK 38 is your friend.

EDIT: I like Bilas, but there's no way I want to hear him call a Duke game.

I really want to watch Oregon-Utah, but I simply cannot subject myself to 40 minutes of Bill Walton.

Cal-Irvine has held UCSB scoreless for the first 4:14 of the game, leading 11-0.

The Gauchos ended up making a game of it, trailing 34-27 at the half and then taking a 59-53 lead with 3:07 to play. But UCI tied it at 59 to send it to OT, and the Anteaters outscored UCSB in the extra session 13-4 to win it going away. They get Hawaii for the dance ticket.

And because of that, I missed Mighty Joe Young's three at the buzzer that gave the Ducks a 67-64 win.  FML.

Ridiculously slow start for both teams in Albany. It's 2-2 with 13:20 left in the half, but the defense has been intense.

Yeah gut wrenching for Stony Brook that last minute was a horror show.  My folks both did postgrad there so I always root for them.

Yeah. Wonder what the S curve looks right now. Any of Duke UVA Wisconsin Arizona and Villanova could be #2-6

Yup, it's tighter than a fat chick's bra. The only certainty is that WI, ARI and Nova are in control of their own destinies and the committee will reward them for winning their conference tournament(s). Should any of them falter, I'd expect Virginia to be first up despite the head-to-head loss to Duke, since the committee also looks more at overall body of work. That the Blue Devils finished behind the Cavs in the ACC despite knocking them off will carry a bit more weight.
