Cubs, really the whole roster, I think they will be fun. (Though less fun if that was as bad as it looked.)

Sorry I didn't start a thread, it's been a rough spring.
Sorry to hear that, hope the summer goes better!

I should've started it myself but like half of my Guys are Mariners and I figured nobody wants to hear that today. Royce Lewis was another one and he's already injured.

EDIT: uh, I meant Royce Lewis…

Oakland might be lucky to win 50 again this year. A team that starts Alex Wood on opening day isn't even trying. 6-0 Cleveland in the 4th.

There
Things have gotten away from the Rockies pitchers in the 3rd inning in Arizona. The DBacks have batted around, put up 10 runs in the inning, and are still going. Currently 12-1 Arizona in the 3rd.

Finally over, they scored 14 runs on 13 hits and are up 16-2 after 3.

Lawrence Butler last year: “The A's have a really bright future,” Butler said. “People might think of us as the laughingstock of the league this year, but next year is going to be a whole different story.”

Lawrence Butler tonight: Overslides 3rd base to end an inning with his team down 6-0.

According to MLB’s Sarah Langs, the Diamondbacks’ 14-run inning on Thursday is tied for the fourth most in any inning since 1900. Here are the only three to surpass it:

— June 18, 1953, Red Sox, 17 runs, seventh inning, vs. Detroit at Fenway Park
— April 19, 1996, Rangers, 16 runs, eighth inning, vs. Baltimore at The Ballpark In Arlington
— May 21, 1952, Dodgers, 15 runs, first inning, vs. Cincinnati at Ebbets Field

Arizona's 14 runs in the third ties the MLB record for any one team in the third inning overall, alongside the Cleveland Spiders against the Washington Nationals, on August 7, 1889.

Before 1900 for the Langs stat, you have 18 by Chicago on September 6, 1883. That inning, three different White Stockings players had three hits--a feat only matched twice since then, both by Red Sox.

Rhys Hoskins slid late and hard through second while Jeff McNeil was trying to turn a double play. McNeil got spiked a bit on his back leg and his front leg was in a real tough spot as Hoskins came over and through the bag (and onto McNeil's extended knee). McNeil objected to the slide and the bullpens got some cardio in, but no fights.

Upon review, they ruled it clean, but lots of jawing and Hoskins making a crying motion at McNeil. Surely not the last we hear of this one.

MLB app telling me no feeds available for Braves vs Phillies, but I can't find a feed on Fubo either.

Anyone know what channel it is on?

Must feel pretty bad to be Wheeler, who outdueled Strider and pitched 6 scoreless, just to leave and have his pen give up 9 over the next two innings.

MLB letting Royce Lewis be the first person on their "Opening Day is special" between innings clips was really considerate of them, since it was the only way he was going to get on it before he got hurt.

Mookie is just insane. He's even playing shortstop now. I know this topic has been beaten into the finest pulp known to mankind at this point, but just truly unbelievable and unforgivable that the Sox let this guy go. Even more twisted that two of the players acquired for him are now in the Yankees org. Pathetic all around.
