Flamengo have played their asses off. Now Liverpool have 5 days to recover for a trip to 2nd place Leicester City...This is the last game of the season for flamengo and they're playing a high press the entire game. You know, maybe, just maybe, the cramps may be real...
At least Citeh did them a favor.Flamengo have played their asses off. Now Liverpool have 5 days to recover for a trip to 2nd place Leicester City...
I’m sure we’ll see them keep cramping up now that they trail.Flamengo have played their asses off. Now Liverpool have 5 days to recover for a trip to 2nd place Leicester City...
What the hell are you seeing in this game? This has absolutely cemented my refusal to watch anything to do with South American club footy.
A team organized around deceiving a referee, committing dirty fouls, and getting in their opponents’ heads. Mane and Salah’s yellows are perfect encapsulations of this. I hate that shit. This should be an exhibition of football talent, not theatrics and black psychology. What the hell are you seeing in this game?
I can’t stand Atletico, either. I hated Chelsea when they encapsulated this. Man City spare the theatrics to this extent, but they’re into the mind games. It is in Europe, but not to this extent. It should be stamped out, plain and simple.I'm not even a Flamengo suporter, but the level of prejudice in this thread is off the charts.
It's on FS2 in about 45 minutes if you want to watch or DVR it. Just add some extra time to the end of the recording.Wasn’t able to watch the game, but am thrilled with the result. Double-special for me, as I’m a Liverpool and Fluminese fan. Visceral dislike of all things Flamengo.
Oooh. Thanks! It's on FS2 in about 45 minutes if you want to watch or DVR it. Just add some extra time to the end of the recording.
Good on Fox for knowing fans wouldn’t want to watch live. It's on FS2 in about 45 minutes if you want to watch or DVR it. Just add some extra time to the end of the recording.
I thought Liverpool’s best player today was Henderson.Salah with the Golden Ball? Playing to the hosts just a bit?
Given Firmino scored the winning goal in both games and all...
Yeah, I think so as well. Was just looking across both games. I give Hendo credit for stepping in when the team was short in the back against Monterrey, but I think he'd agree it wasn't a great performance.I thought Liverpool’s best player today was Henderson.
A) It’s the Liverpool threadWhat you saw was a team that dominated possession for large parts of the game, only to lose on a counter attack when they were already spent physically.

Ox injured ankle ligaments, out for at least the holiday crush. No timetable for return yet.Matip is due back any day now. Wijnaldum trained yesterday, so hopefully he can get into the holiday scrum. Fabinho is another month out. Don’t see a timeframe on Lovren still.
The modern game is brutal.
Someone is going to have to make a compelling case and give me hard evidence that shows they are better off with Lovren and not Gomez starting next to VVD.Matip is due back any day now. I think Klopp prefers Matip with VVD because Matip is the best ball playing CB of the bunch (as well as being defensively solid). Several times a game, Matip will spray a long diagonal pass or push the ball into a pocket of space in the midfield, things Gomez and Lovren don’t do.Someone is going to have to make a compelling case and give me hard evidence that shows they are better off with Lovren and not Gomez starting next to VVD.
The midfield injuries are piling up though. Midfielders are the footballing equivalent of “there’s no such thing as too much starting pitching.”
Mo looks like a character from a low budget 80’s movie set in a post-apocalyptic wasteland. Something you’d find airing twice a week on Showtime or Cinemax in 1988-89
