Major loss for Buffalo if he is out for any significant period of time.

Has there ever been an athlete in the history of ever that was "feared to have a torn ACL" that didn't ultimately have a torn ACL?

Oof. Schefter just tweeted that "sources" tell him it is indeed a torn ACL and is expected to miss the entire season.

Tom Brady in 2008 obviously!  I remember when that seemed like a bad dream.  Oh wait...

Seriously, as I was told by a physical therapist that little 'pull the bottom of the leg and see what the knee joint does' like instantly tells them if the ACL is attached with like 99% accuracy and that MRI a few days later is just a formality.  I guess the only thing it wouldnt catch is an ACL that is hanging on by a thread but has been torn beyond repair and still needs the surgery.

I feel bad for the Bills, too -- they're the Pats' rival I like the best, hard not to be sympathetic. But...them's the breaks.
