It should not go by the boards (so to speak) that Poitras has created two penalties and we scored on both. Many ways to contribute.

Alamogordo
They lost Bergeron, Krejci, Orlov, Bertuzzi, Foligno, Nosek, and Hall…

and somehow they look even better this year?
It makes no sense. None.

Granted that their schedule so far has been incredibly easy (I saw it somewhere as the easiest in the league to this point), but they should not be doing this.

Hopefully the lessons learned from last year ring true.

It hasn’t been a murderers row but it also isn’t that soft. They have played Dallas, Toronto, NYI, LAK, Detroit x2 and Anaheim x2 as teams either currently in the playoffs or a playoff team SEL last season.

Best record in the league currently, as Vegas suffered their second regulation loss last night. Unreal... I thought they were cooked after Bergeron's departure, but I reflect on the fact that they were 3-1 in the series against the Panthers without him. This team is deep...

Not sure how I feel about this being Coyle's first hat trick. He definitely has the skill set to do it more frequently, but consistency has always been his weakness. Here's hoping that experience will help him bring it night-in, night-out.

I'm loving this run as much as the next guy, but let's all keep this in mind as how crazy it is they're so far above predictions when they have their eventual skid.

But last year, while performing amazingly, they were not as far over their predictions as they are this year. And yes, let's all continue to ride this crazy train while it's on the tracks. But if/when it goes off those tracks, let's not call for Poitras to be DFA'd, coaches to be fired, etc.

Fake Edit - We can still shit on ForBot cuz that's been a constant no matter how the team is doing.
