Have you checked on the Sprint coverage? Poor reading skills on the bolded. How is the Sprint coverage? I never really trust what the service providers report as their coverage, I always ask other people I know which is why I avoided AT&T a while back. I'm considering switching and the Sprint monthly fee is pretty appealing.
On the insurance, I'd read the fine print. Its my understanding that any technology insurance that you buy is a pretty big money maker for the company you are buying it from and I think its generally because the benefit you get isnt as awesome as you think. I bought it for a camera at BestBuy once and it was presented that I would get 'full value' but that was actually 'full market value' in their opinion and after like a year when it broke I only got about half of what I paid for it. On the phone insurance, whats the deductible / total benefit you get? Some of them are like half off the full retail price and with some quickly googling Sprint has a
benefit calculator and for the iPhone 5S with a full retail value of $650 at the $11 a month your deductible is $200 and for the 6 I'm sure that spread is a little worse. Thats not awful, but you just dont want to have the expectation that you will get a phone for free.
Say you assume only 1 will be broken and you pay $44 a month to get a $450 benefit, as long as one isnt broken in 10 months you are better off just saving the money.
