He's had exactly one one-inning stint at AAA. Yeah, he did well.Kelly has been doing well at AAA in one inning stints. Might be time to check him in.
I'm going with Dolph.Zero doubt.
How does this guy (Ziegler) not have a nickname?
I was going to suggest Ziegler Dark ThirtyI'm going with Dolph.
Good thing you didn'tI was going to suggest Ziegler Dark Thirty
I've been curious about Joe Smith of The Angels. He has been a pretty good back of the bullpen guy for a few years. This season hasn't been his best, he's only signed through the end of the year and The Angels aren't a very good team. These should be pluses as far as his availability go. Wondering what it might take to get him.I'd be pretty surprised if you didn't see at a minimum a "decent" arm coming this way in a trade.
DD has consistently shown that he acts extremely quickly to address big league needs, this won't be any different.
Yes but we don't know the reason they walked away. We hope it's because they didn't want to employee a domestic abuser. But there's a non zero chance they are not the stand up guys we think and were more concerned with losing him for whatever suspension he had coming. The Sox didn't have the luxury of Miller and Batances to fill in during that. The Red Sox already walked away from Chapman because of the off field issues. I'm pretty sure they wouldn't take him no matter the price/alignment of needs.
