For someone not that well versed in hockey challenges, would the Bruins have had any chance at all on getting that back seeing as it was pretty clear to me that Talbot was trying to play the puck? Or is that a thing where intent doesn't matter in terms of a review?

I know they're missing Fleury & Letang but holy shit is this team a fucking dumpster fire right now.
This game and Wednesday's game are both totally different with Fleury in the net. I know you guys have a very good team but Zatkoff should be in the ECHL.

Totally agree on that one. This kid just isn't an NHL goaltender. There's gotta be someone on waivers they can grab.

They have Matt Murray who was tearing up the AHL as the backup, and he had an excellent preseason, better than Zatkoff. I was hoping they'd go with him right away but he should get to play tomorrow.

Sweeping the home and home from the Penguins in 2 clear wins is totally unexpected based on my expectations coming in to the season.

Anton Khudobin just went through waivers and was assigned to the Ducks AHL team.

I don't think they had found out about Fleury's condition until he cleared, but Khudobin's got a fairly big contract for a backup too at 2.5 million.

The Penguins do have some goalie depth in the system with Murray and Tristan Jarry; they probably need to find out if they are the real deal given this season is approaching lost cause territory.

This is so far and above what I thought they could do this year. Is this sustainable the rest of the way?
I think most of us agree that this team isn't quite ready to compete for the Cup yet, but if these kids keep improving as the season progresses, do we think they might be ready by the time the playoffs start? Especially if Tuukka is playing well, I don't think there are many teams out there who overmatch the Bruins.
