Did Bautista leave an out on the table or is there a 10 HR limit?
I believe they missed showing his final out. It happened earlier for him as well.Hhis pitcher was moving quicker than ESPN was able to keep up wit and Berman and the crew don't know what footage we are seeing.

ESPN was too busy showing some bros celebrating to be bothered to show his final out.

ESPN is so fucked. No one is even paying attention to what's going on at the plate.

Awesome. Puig with the goose egg.

Way to follow up on your 78-minute interview with Pedro Gomez.

maybe they could have kept it at 10 outs instead of 7 if they didn't have interviews with random people between contestants

Remember when they used to show a wide shot of the ball traveling through the air?  Now they apparently have a mandate to show the kids scrambling in the outfield so instead of watching the ball fly, we watch the area the production crew think it's going to land.

Everything about this event has trended in the wrong direction over the last few years.

I thought the camera work had gotten progressively better until this year, when it went off the cliff.

berman calls 4 hrs in 6 outs a heck of a show as a throw in to show he's not even paying attention to his job

The old black and white 1950s home run derby show had better production values. ESPN
sucks at everything baseball.

For all the shit we give NESN around here, tonight's coverage reminds me just how good we have it in terms of camerawork, production, ebb & flow, etc.

They've been doing the "watch the kids scramble" thing for a few years now.

Do people have dildos coming out of their face? Why do we need a flex ball razor?

Because if you aren't shaving our entire face in one long sweeping stroke, you are doing it wrong.
