Harbaugh is insanely competitive, and during his time at Michigan routinely “coached up” players that didn’t have the recruiting stars of tOSU. Over the past 3 years he’s done more with less compared to Ohio State. The 2020 Covid season was an inflection point for Harbaugh, and he sought out players committed to changing the culture (I’ll highlight Aiden Hutchinson and incoming freshman JJ McCarthy for two). Additionally, Michigan over the past 20 years developed a reputation for peeing down its leg in big moments. Fast forward to today, and Michigan is one of the more disciplined and mentally tough teams in the NCAA. Given his previous success with the 49ers and Michigan, I’d expect a similar transformation for the Chargers.
Harbaugh couldn’t give a shit about Mahomes. He’s definitely not afraid of him, and will use him as a measuring stick for the Chargers. Don’t know if the LAC will beat the Chiefs, but I think those games will be a lot more physical and chippy than they’ve been recently. The division just got a lot more fun to watch, that’s for sure.
Spoken liken a sour Buckeye. Gross hyperbole. Do we need to get into the whole situation with Catapult?
