Man City down to 10 with Rodri off on a straight red. May not matter for this game but a three match ban means he’ll miss the Arsenal fixture, which could be important.

I turned it on after your post so missed the penalty. I will say that the camera angles at Luton are wild. When they are closest to the camera sideline, it's almost directly down on the players. I had to google the stadium and now I totally understand it.

Really stupid PEN given in the Luton/Wolves game. Defender strides/dives to block a shot … ball deflects off his foot and hits his raised hand - just ludicrous
I believe it was mentioned on Goal Rush that this was Josh Smith's first PL match (not the NBA Josh Smith)...quite the day: red, controversial pen

Burnley are probably a year away from 10x+ on their 5m euro investment in Al Dakhil, he looks great as a distributor and defender

Up the Toffees!

Dominant attacking performance on the road, taking apart a dispirited Brentford side.

Doucoure, Tarkowski (the obligatory “thumping header” off a corner) and a jubilant Calvert-Lewin:

Best part is McNeil celebrating before Dom even gets the shot off.

James Garner deployed in a central mid spot and played brilliantly including this perfect ball for DCL.

With a healthy DCL and McNeil, Beto, Garner, Danjuma, Doucoure playing well, andJack Harrison coming into the side soon, Toffees…… could be a potent attacking side!??! Defense has bee. porous though, except for the kid Branthwaite who has beenoutstanding.

Brennan Johnson stars for Spurs. Him and Ange can silence all the critics with a big performance today.

Alisson wasn’t on the list for keepers of the year. But Ederson, who can’t start ahead of him for Brazil, was. LOL

Peacock still can’t produce a steam that doesn’t freeze and lag. For a paid product this is absurd.

Let’s cut them some slack. They’ve only been trying to get it to work for like five years.

Can’t get a feel for what this referee wants. He’s been inconsistent on what he calls and doesn’t. So far it’s favored Liverpool on the whole but nothing earth shattering one way or another.

As I type that, Paqueta dives into the water to draw one.

Did not know Maddison was such a villain to Arsenal. Saka mocked him on the goal celebration.

I wonder why I can’t get my 8 year old to take throw ins toward his opponents’ goal, then I realize he watches Liverpool with me. Gomez was practically level with the attacking 18 and tossed it back to Matip on midfield.

Maybe not the right time to have named Van Dijk captain, he should be third or fourth choice right now

You have to go back and card Paqueta for that. Play on does not negate the cynical pullback attempt to break the play.

Very weird how the commentary for a match that’s tied with equal shots and Spurs 60/40 possessing the ball is being talked about like Arsenal are crushing.

It’s like a commentator played over 450 matches for one of the teams or something.

TBF, I think Arsenal had the better half. Spurs are struggling to play out from the back and have made some mistakes that they are fortunate Arsenal haven't fully capitalized on. Udogie, Sarr and Bissouma all being on yellows is also not so good.

Sarr and Bissouma's yellows came after the ref missed an Arsenal foul (which could itself been a yellow card), which led to an Arsenal attack the other way where Sarr grabbed the defender and Bissouma got booked for dissent. Poor refereeing there.

I thought Spurs were the better side, which surprised me. They have made some mistakes in buildup which the Arsenal press has capitalized on, but Arsenal have created basically nothing in terms of actual chances, except for that Jesus shot from the Maddison turnover. Spurs are forcing Arsenal to adjust to them rather than the other way around, which I wouldn't have expected.

Brighton-Bournemouth are 2-1 at 49’ - all 3 goals have been hideous defensive breakdowns

Did Rice Rice Baby turn to Rice Rice Gravy? Didn't expect to see him subbed off at half time.

Edit: Left calf bandaged up.
