The good news is Gravenberch looks like a player. Just keep him away from Nunez in finishing drills.
That was as close to a handball penalty I’ve seen without it being given. I err on the side of not giving those because your arms have to be somewhere (and obviously because LFC) but it wasn’t exactly at is side
We were wrong. Double jeopardy only applies if there is a genuine attempt to play the ball. A horsecollar isn’t that. Instead, officials said it was because he didn’t have possession of the ball, but that seems weird because Isak didn’t have it when VVD was sent off, so… Reasons?
Not feeling great about Arsenal’s ability to threaten City without Saka or Martinelli.

"The more you see it the worse it gets", means it's probably really bad. The announcers should stop excusing what probably should be a red.
I don’t mind the first foul being called yellow but the second yellow was a no brainer. If you’re going to let a guy off the hook once, you can’t just look past another studs up reckless challenge five minutes later.
They are not letting offsides play out, and not upgrading makes it clear that VAR has been told to stay in the background for the moment.
Don’t know what feed y’all are seeing but the Fubol feed (World feed I assume) has the announcers audio ahead of the video. The play by play guy has now called three plays/results before they happened.

From a neutral’s perspective this isn’t much of a match - not exactly scintillating, pulsating action. Mind you, the score is ideal.
Well. The downside to approaching the game as conservatively as Pep did is that it only takes one fluky deflection to cost you the game.
I’ve not been particularly impressed by City this year. They’ve had a super easy schedule so far. I think the title race is wide open.
I think City badly miss De Bruyne. Without him they are sorely lacking for midfield creativity.
Would tend to agree - Haaland is completely starved of service. They obviously missed Rodri today as well.
City should have been on 10 men for what 60 minutes and Arsenal had all the chances in the last 45. Not sure what else you wanted from Arsenal there?
Also, that ball was going in if it wasn't deflected.
