Morris is one of those guys who went from everyone calling him underrated to actually being overrated with everyone loving him so much. Same with Delon Wright imo. Now I can dig me some Slo-Mo. I'm not really sure what you mean by not being available....you mean injuries? Both have been more durable than Brogdon espeically Slo-Mo
do we really care if a player is called underrated/overrated? Just want Brad to pick up a PG from a team that just added Poole/Jones

Monte Morris has been consistently good. Never turns it over and can consistently shoot 3s

POR man... just tripling down on the same no-defense forwards and tiny no-defense backcourts every year for like 15 years.

All the rumors had Brown being the Lakers #1 target.

Womp, womp.
If the Lakers are able to keep their guys, and sign Prince, which they did, it would be a very nice day for them

Of course they have yet to resign their guys

Portland has no real plan—-it’s the even worse do of the two timelines thing.

Bulls pay 3/$20 to Jacob Carter….that’s a more lost franchise than even Portland

The second year of the Bruce Brown contract is a team option. That’s a one year deal most likely.

Nice pickup by CHI, Carter is a solid PG and they badly need one with Lonzo done for the year, good price too
They are going absolutely nowhere and spinning their wheels In the middle. This is a symptom of that—-there’s zero upside here. A better franchise would target upside or trade ability with mid level (which they used here)

this is the difference between tactics and strategy. He’s, in the abstract, worth this but it’s a terrible idea

Listen, they're screwed no matter what because of the rest of that roster, if you're stuck playing in the bottom of the playoffs, might as well make your team better with a good deal that you can maybe actually use in a trade.

He's never really been "that" good. He'd have been somewhere between Brogdon and Pritchard in our playoff rotation if he were a Celtic this past season.

I think it is, so do most people who have commented on it among the people I pay attention to NBA opinions from. He's a good player, he's making very little, if they plan to try and win with this team (which it appears they will) they need a PG BADLY.

The deal they made today that is bad is the Colby White one, he sucks, they paid him 13M+ a year, and he's already another negative trade asset.... and he's a much worse player than Carter

That’s a big loss for the Heat but I’d bet they’re happy not to pay him that kind of money.
And they'll find some UDFA from Kalamazoo College that will completely replace his production for free.

Brogdon is clearly a better shooter, but it's about roster fit + adding Slo Mo...

Ball security in the Playoffs is an obvious place where this team could improve.

I think we'll get that with White as the starting PG. I'd be fine with a little less scoring PG from the bench with fewer turnovers & better passing.
