B's desperately need a couple lucky bounce goals in this one. Just need to see pucks going in the net again.

Yeah. That feisty play was from earlier when refs didn’t call the Bruin getting pulled down by his helmet with nobody or the puck around.

JC tripping
I came to post just that. I'm no hockey expert, but as McQuaid was pinning the puck against the boards, the Toronto player stuck his stick between McQuaid's legs and yanked backward, clearly tripping him to the ice. Like.....completely obvious. Did the refs not call it because it didn't really impact the play at all? Why else wouldn't that be called? It would be nice to start the 2nd period with a PP.

Some very McQuaid like decisions by McQuaid there with the puck at the end.

We need someone to make some luck for themselves. Keep firing. Keep the pressure up. Stop making stupid decisions with the puck (McQuaid!). Make this terrible officiating irrelevant like in the first two games.

It likely wasn't called because the game is Toronto. I mean, the refs already tried to kill McAvoy by not calling a clear icing.

Compete level low on some of these guys right now, Wingels with some beer league quality circles, some horrendous decision making going on. Scariest thing for me was how open the back door was on the Leafs PP...

But hey- shit period and you come out tied. Rask is seeing the puck well, we just need some more sustained pressure.

Attempts 23-16 Toronto at ES.

Krejci line got buried, 22% Corsi. They really need to be better and Cassidy may have to do some work to get them away from Matthews.

Yeah that second line needs to step up in a big way. Debruk aside.

Could they play any worse. It’s like they gave up when they heard Bergy was out. Rask saving them
