I wouldn’t be at all shocked if Ottawa was better than the Bruins next year. They’re on the rise. It's a good thing the bottom 4 teams in the division are really awful, otherwise the playoff streak probably would have ended.

Buffalo looked like they started to get some things together late in the season. This team's going to be wandering the wilderness for years without Bergeron.I wouldn’t be at all shocked if Ottawa was better than the Bruins next year. They’re on the rise.
He is an abomination tonight. He wasn't much better last night.Ullmark has allowed 8 goals on 46 shots. Don’t care where they came from, that is unacceptable. Ullmark finishes this one, Swayman starts Friday.
I could take some bad years. I’m really afraid they do what Detroit did and held on so long that they had to do a deep, deep dive.Buffalo looked like they started to get some things together late in the season. This team's going to be wandering the wilderness for years without Bergeron.
Is it a certainty sweeney(and probably Cassidy) are out?He is an abomination tonight. He wasn't much better last night.
$11.8m between him, Foligno, and Forbort. $11.8m next year as well. That's all she wrote for Sweeney IMO
It all depends on who they bring in to buy the groceries honestly. You pick the wrong guy and your Buffalo. You do it right and you can be back in 3 years.Buffalo looked like they started to get some things together late in the season. This team's going to be wandering the wilderness for years without Bergeron.
Dude, we all know Donny isn’t going to feel a joule of heat for this, even though he sat on the fence AGAIN, and didn’t make the decisive move he needed to.He is an abomination tonight. He wasn't much better last night.

Not at all. Depends on what Neely wants to do. It’s his team unless Charlie cans him.Is it a certainty sweeney(and probably Cassidy) are out?
Yea, I just saw the hit again on Twitter - and he was out standing up.I’m way more worried about the long term status of a defenseman that they just signed for 8 years than I am about the rest of this series.
I personally don’t think so but there are rumors that Sweeney is on an expiring contract. Is it a certainty sweeney(and probably Cassidy) are out?
He reportedly doesn’t have a contract for next year yet, so who knows?Dude, we all know Donny isn’t going to feel a joule of heat for this, even though he sat on the fence AGAIN, and didn’t make the decisive move he needed to.
Yea, I'm skeptical that ownership really gives much of a shit. They sell out the place regularly and get a couple playoff gates every year. San Jose Sharks East.Dude, we all know Donny isn’t going to feel a joule of heat for this, even though he sat on the fence AGAIN, and didn’t make the decisive move he needed to.
This is a very good point.I’m way more worried about the long term status of a defenseman that they just signed for 8 years than I am about the rest of this series.
Sooo, let Bergeron retire and use the cap savings to sign Colin Blackwell and Mark Giordano to multi year deals. Not at all. Depends on what Neely wants to do. It’s his team unless Charlie cans him.
I don’t know how I feel about that, because the first idea at a replacement that popped in was Jim Benning. He reportedly doesn’t have a contract for next year yet, so who knows?
Only if you listen to him.Adam Jones is going to be insufferable tonight.
It's the real kick in balls to this series. Lose I the first round in 4 or 5 and now we have 2 top 4 d with concussion issues. This is a very good point.
Yeah, but you never know. Hits like that can be funny in the way they look on TV. He might end up as Savard, he might be back for game 3.Yea, I just saw the hit again on Twitter - and he was out standing up.
His season is done, regardless of how far along the Bruins make it. I hope for his health, his career isn't done as well.
As opposed to…?Adam Jones is going to be insufferable tonight.
He’s absolutely not playing again this season.Yeah, but you never know. Hits like that can be funny in the way they look on TV. He might end up as Savard, he might be back for game 3.
I’m not as cynical about the Jacobs as most Bruins fans. I don’t think it’s any more of a holding to them, but I believe most ownership groups are like that.Yea, I'm skeptical that ownership really gives much a shit. They sell out the place regularly and get a couple playoff gates every year. San Jose Sharks East.
I dont understand how a hit like that to the chin that knocks a guy out is considered clean. He’s absolutely not playing again this season.
That’s like saying that my dog is licking his ass tonight. Of course he is. He’s a fucking dog.Adam Jones is going to be insufferable tonight.
Absolutely this.I’m way more worried about the long term status of a defenseman that they just signed for 8 years than I am about the rest of this series.
That's what I don't understand, but I admit I don't watch as much hockey as many around here.I dont understand how a hit like that to the chin that knocks a guy out is considered clean.
He‘ll give an extra long smirk. Might even shake his head twiceCassidy better go nuclear on these refs after the game.
Dude.Cassidy better go nuclear on these refs after the game.
I understand your thinking and you are likely to be right because the Bruins are going to have a hard time getting through the weekend, but none the less, I still stand by the basic idea that TV sometimes is deceptive with the impact of hits. And it goes both ways. More importantly, when players get really serious concussions that don't look like major blows on tape I think it is a disservice that we all often sort of 'whatevs' those hits. He’s absolutely not playing again this season.
