Might not be much of a series if the Bs don't win game 2.

Seriously. It's impossible to come back from being down 2 games. I can't even remember the last time it was done. Probably never.ivanvamp said:

Bs played like shit, they had the intensity of a Sunday matinee, to say anything different is watching through black and gold glasses. If they don't win puck battles and make this a game below the goal line they are done. They have more than enough talent to pull the series out but the effort wasn't there tonight.Frank McBain said:It was a tough loss in the opener but the Bruins didn't play nearly as bad as some are making it out to be. It's gonna be a long series.bs
It was pretty inexcusable, but Lucic did the same thing himself the last game against Montreal I think and nothing came of it. I'd be shocked if it led to a suspension.mabrowndog said:

Yeah let's just assume all faceoffs are equal. Win a center ice draw to start the period and lose a defensive draw on the pk means you are 50% let's all sing kumbayaMyt1 said:Why let facts get in the way of people crying in their beer like they've been doing since the matchups were set?
Ah, the whingeing of a loss being the result of effort has begun too. Sports are the best fucking morality play ever.
God forbid I call out the best team in the regular season when they play like shit at home. Do you even know what the bs style typically is or do you tune in for playoffs like most fans. Anyone that has watched more than a handful of games understands that was not a typical bs game. They were weak on the puck, never established a forecheck and never got a cycle going which has been the hallmark of this team for the last 10 or so years.Myt1 said:No, let us untalented assclowns complain about the effort of people who expend more in a day than we do in a month because god forbid the other fucking team have any impact on the outcome of the game.
Christ. Fans like you grew like fucking cancer from the success of this town' steams.
They couldn't put the puck in the net, Howard was pretty darn good. Their defense was fine, especially considering the subs in and Kelly out.j44thor said:God forbid I call out the best team in the regular season when they play like shit at home. But please enlighten me on why you think they lost.

It's that seriously your response you waste of oxygen?Myt1 said:My mother died of cancer four years ago last week. You can go fuck yourself studio gangster, but nice retort when you've got nothing else.
This is retarded.j44thor said:Also using the term cancer is as despicable as gay, retarded, cunt or the n word. I've got an uncle with 5 months to live because of that and if anyone said anything was a cancer I would go down fighting. For someone that considers themselves educated you might want to reconsider your use of that.
Myt1 said:FWIW, you would go down, too.
He's been doing this since day 1 post Lewie. Sometimes it makes zero sense. That line had some good shifts tonight.Stitch01 said:The one thing I didn't really get was Julian rolling out the fourth line for an offensive zone face off coming out of a commercial break with four minutes left.

A couple of likely reasons. 1) Spooner is not really a grinder, he is a skill guy so he doesn't really match with what they are going for with that line and 2) he only plays center and that line needs a wing.Bob Montgomery's Helmet Hat said:As a big fan with marginal understanding of the small details...could someone tell me why Spooner wouldn't get a sniff with the Merlot line if Paille is still out?
Thanks, that makes sense. I guess I think of Paille as the skill guy on the line, so he could replace some of that. But I forgot that he only played center.TheStoryofYourRedRightAnkle said:A couple of likely reasons. 1) Spooner is not really a grinder, he is a skill guy so he doesn't really match with what they are going for with that line and 2) he only plays center and that line needs a wing.
I'm curious if they consider moving Soderberg to wing and having Spooner play third line center if Kelly is out for any reasonable length of time.TheStoryofYourRedRightAnkle said:A couple of likely reasons. 1) Spooner is not really a grinder, he is a skill guy so he doesn't really match with what they are going for with that line and 2) he only plays center and that line needs a wing.
Well yes. You were seeing a EDM dman that was scratched for most if the year and two mediocre Pruins playing more than 5 minutes.j44thor said:
I agree but if they play the same game next time then it likely becomes two games down and now you are going to DET. I'm not saying the sky is falling but something needs to change. Perhaps I was at a different game because I didn't see the B's team that skated at the garden for most of the season.

Wait a second. You start talking about going down fighting in response to something I said, and now you're asking if I'm threatening you? And me making an offer?j44thor said:So are you threating me brah? Being from southie doesn't make one tough by default but I'm glad to see this is how the thread devolves after I mention my uncle is going to die from cancer this year. So what you're saying is that the season is over, and it's all because we didn't get Vanek.kenneycb said:And ain't no meltdown like a RMPS meltdown after a first round playoff game because an RMPS meltdown don't stop.

It wasn't the same team. They need to play better. It could be worse, they could be down 2-0 and going to Montreal.j44thor said:

Hopefully no that everyone's sober we can realize how dumb this post is. Let's all take a deep breath, keep calm, and Bergeron.j44thor said:
