Oak St is 6 for 15 from the line this half? Did I hear that right?
Yup

Gonzaga hasn't been much better at the line unfortunately

He said, "And now they hack a Pollock," after they fouled Karnowski.

And now there is a second apology.

Gminski probably punched him too

They need a new rule, after 12 fouls, other team gets 3 shots. This is taking hours off my life.

I'd be good with a you get one point and have to only shoot one FT after 12 or 13 fouls in a half.  It'd keep Oklahoma State from doing what they did to get back in the game.  They got out played most of the game and yet almost got back into it because they could foul with impunity knowing Gonzaga was relatively cold from the FT line.

The Shockers are delivering shocks all over the court. This is a commanding performance. And, again, no 16 seed will beat a 1.

Is it possible that an undefeated team could be underrated? The Shockers are a damn good team.

Virginia & Coastal Carolina are still waiting in the wings for this year's final test of that postulate.

Oh, that's right. I read that it's around a 63-1 chance for a 16 seed to win. Generally. I think #1's are over 105-0. Some #1 team will fall someday. I hope it's Virginia.

An inconsistent half for PC, and they were in danger of being in quite a hole at the break, but that was a strong finish.

They need to get Batts & Harris involved in all aspects: 0 pts, 1 reb, 3 turnovers & 4 fouls between them. And Fortune was barely heard from over that 20 minutes. For them to be down only 3 with just Cotton & Henton carrying play is pretty amazing.

SFA's man-to-man defense is as disruptive to VCU as VCU's full-court press is to SFA.
You do realize that VCU practices against their own defense, right. They expect teams to wear out in the last 10 minutes of the game.

Yep. I'm hoping the three wins against NW State - a faster team than VCU - helps.

question for PC fans/students/alums, majority watching 2nd half v. UNC or Hockey East semis?

DtTtB, I'm watching the basketball game, but that's because I don't know where to find the hockey game.  Do you know what channel it's on Comcast?

PC falls behind by 9, but they make another mini-run with a pair of inside moves off fast breaks to cut it to 5. The Friars still seem really tentative hesitant to send the ball inside to their big men, or to take it to the hole on penetration.
