Your post was still on manual approval, I OK'd it. Hopefully we'll be back to full posting soon.
Yes, I saw some of those. "Well she's a bad person too!"It's fun reading the posts in /r/NFL (which is usually pretty good to be honest) defending Hardy still.
Nahh, I think bashing Hardy is NFL-approved.ESPN.com actually has a bunch of posts and tweets about this, how it makes it more real to everyone. I thought they would sweep it under the rug since NFL
That is such a tiresome defense. Putting aside the fact that everyone here is lying, the NFL didn't need to see the videos to know what happened in the elevator with Ray Rice and the Cowboys didn't need to see the pictures to know what happened with Greg Hardy.@MarkMaske: One source said the Hardy photos "were not accessible to the team" before the Cowboys signed Hardy. Cowboys declined to comment.

No, it is indicative that Skip schedules tweets and didn't remove his regularly scheduled trash talk tweet in light of today's news.Is Skip intimating that the woman Hardy beat the snot out of is a cry baby? Did I read that correctly?
Edit: this is in response of soxhops post. I can't get quotes to work.
I know it would probably cost some reporter his/her job, but I'd really love to see someone ask Jerry Jones if it gets tiring having to debase yourself by defending a piece of shit like Greg Hardy all the time?
There's a concept in defamation law that basically holds that it's eventually impossible to defame monsters because their reputations are so awful that no matter what you say about them, they can't actually suffer a cognizable injury. I kinda feel that way about the concept of Jerry Jones debasing himself.I know it would probably cost some reporter his/her job, but I'd really love to see someone ask Jerry Jones if it gets tiring having to debase yourself by defending a piece of shit like Greg Hardy all the time?
Yeah, I wasn't really thinking that he/she would lose their job based on a defamation suit. More like a "don't fuck with the Cowboys and cost us access" firing by their station. Of course, if someone had the guts to ask Jerry Jones that question they'd probably get picked up somewhere. There's a concept in defamation law that basically holds that it's eventually impossible to defame monsters because their reputations are so awful that no matter what you say about them, they can't actually suffer a cognizable injury. We don't condone it... we just... um... condone it
Sorry, buddy. I was being vastly less specific than the station discussion and just commenting on Jones's general debasement.Yeah, I wasn't really thinking that he/she would lose their job based on a defamation suit. And sf121, that is precisely the video I had in mind when I made that post.
I could have sworn there was but my searches turn up nada. Sorry bosoxen for sullying the thread. Is there already a thread on this? I don't want to invade the Cowboys topics...
Precisely.Sorry, buddy. I was being vastly less specific than the station discussion and just commenting on Jones's general debasement.
Completely different. For instance, were there indication that Aaron Hernandez was a murderous piece of shit.
Edit: To be clear - as much as I love my team and Belichick and Kraft - whiffing on Hernandez' psychopathy will forever be a major stain.
NFL saw the pics, NFLPA saw them, but the Cowboys were prevented from seeing them. Doesn't make it any better, they knew what he did and signed him anyway. But in this case it's not lip service, part of the agreement when the record was expunged in Hardy's case was ONLY the NFL, NFLPA and their lawyers could see the pics and that was only for the league's investigation into his violation of the personal conduct policy. Team wasn't allowed to see them and no one who had copies could legally show them.Completely different.
The Cowboys and Jerry Jones know what Greg Hardy is and had the pictures. They signed him and he has repeatedly supported him.
The better analogy is probably Christian Peter. Myra led the charge but once the Krafts realized what a shitbag they had drafted, the team cut ties immediately.Completely different.
Sure, the Pats did bad on their due diligence on Aaron Hernandez, signing him to that extension. But there is no evidence that they knew what he truly was. And when that became clear they cut him immediately.
Ravens and Roger Goodell knew full well what was going on with Ray Rice, had watched the tape, and the Ravens owner conspired to bury it with Goodell because they are golfing buddies. The Ravens didn't cut Rice until the tape came out.

http://boards.dallascowboys.com/topic/55867-the-greg-hardy-dv-case-images-have-leaked//r/nfl defends Hardy because reddit hates women. It's the same story every time any issue comes up. The guy is bad but the woman probably deserved it a little!
I remember living in Minnesota when they signed Mossy Cade. At first, local sports reporters were of the opinion that this was a good thing, since Cade was regarded as one of the better young cornerbacks in the league before he went to jail and the Vikings got him for nothing. Then one or two stations reported the details of his conviction and, well, things changed. (Cade had been convicted of raping a woman that he was related to by marriage. When he joined the Vikings, his nickname was "aunteater." I kid you not.)They can, and they obviously won't. And I would not want to be in their position despite all his talent. There is every indication this is not going to end well.
Wow. That's bad.http://boards.dallascowboys.com/topic/55867-the-greg-hardy-dv-case-images-have-leaked/
It's not just reddit. Check out this cowboys forum. I couldn't get past the first page.
You are correct, sir.The only way history repeats itself is if Cowboy fans demand it. I'm not holding my breath, but you never know.
Wow. That's bad.
I'm not even sure why Dallas fans would bother defending him, anyway. It's just laundry rooting, to twist yourself in knots to justify Hardy is ridiculous and really doesn't make any sense on multiple levels."She must need more money. That's why these are out now."
Makes no sense on multiple levels.
This whole idea that men don't have a right to protect themselves from malicious women really p i s s e s me off. THE WOMAN WAS TRESPASSING ON HIS PROPERTY AND REFUSED TO LEAVE. SHE ATTACKED HIM.
She's fortunate the damage wasn't worse. Equating this to domestic violence as if Hardy just decided arbitrarily to start beating her is assinine.
A man has a right to defend his home, and defend himself, and I couldn't give a hot damn what her injuries were.

I was pretty psyched to come in here with that and see the perfect post to respond to it with just waiting for me.Well then, fine point there Rev. Jeez. like us on facebook?
