Suburbs of Washington, DC
Unlike in April and May, when they were winning big and coming back late in games, last night's game just seems to sum up where they are right now -- just kind of meh. Maybe they'll make the playoffs, but over the last two months have they given any indication that they can win in October, that they can put a run together, that they can shutdown the opposition after taking the lead late in a game, etc.? I know this is more of a "feel" thing, but right now it doesn't feel like they're capable of separating themselves in September and doing damage in October.

It's more of a sighting thing, if you watch JBJ's recent at bats. I fervently wish the RS had someone decent to sub in there while Jackie and Chili go off on a mountain-top retreat to regain the early summer karma.

I literally feel ill watching him flail away, and I've been a firm believer in his talent up to now. Please tell me that hiss injured toe has altered his stride.

Docs? Will pay $15 for first legitimate diagnosis. (The Donald's gastroenterologist is not eligible).

Sorry, a digression, but I guess it bears on today's game, and tomorrows and......

Yeah, I think there's no chance unless two of JBJ, X and Shaw can find a way to hit baseballs again, especially given that Leon is showing signs of regression lately.
