He doesn'tI disagree with booth. Why does he need to survive the ground
Seven gamesI’m sure I’m going to get flamed for saying this but Ohio State played 6 games this year. Six. They have outplayed Clemson, so I give credit where it’s due, but I wish it had been an even match.
He doesn’t have to, everyone else will do the dirty work for him.Day should be saying "not bad for an 11th ranked team".
Or just money and ESPN is stupid.FOX must have paid Rinaldi stupid money to get him to leave ESPN.
I know, tongue in cheek given his lamenting family time when leaving UFHe took a position in the athletic department
And ESPN is not doing wellOr just money and ESPN is stupid.
I know. Much of it is self-inflicted, so boo fucking hoo.And ESPN is not doing well
Was wondering the same thing. Even Goodell’s basement wasnt as stagedHerbie has all those helmets in his house?
He admitted as much on the broadcastWas wondering the same thing. Even Goodell’s basement wasnt as staged
So he gave rona to all those workers?!He admitted as much on the broadcast
That's exactly what I said to my wife. Like, cool that you didn't travel, but people were still in your house when you had covid. I like herbstreit, but they should have left those details to themselves. So he gave rona to all those workers?!
I missed that detail, thank you
I’d tip my hat and say Clemson played a hell of a game.I’m sure I’m going to get flamed for saying this but Ohio State played 6 games this year. Six. They have outplayed Clemson, so I give credit where it’s due, but I wish it had been an even match.
Question for Ohio State fans: what would you be saying if the roles were reversed? Clemson played 6 games coming in and Ohio State played 11?
Seems like a weird thing to say that they didn't deserve to be there after they just stomped Clemson.I’m sure I’m going to get flamed for saying this but Ohio State played 6 games this year. Six. They have outplayed Clemson, so I give credit where it’s due, but I wish it had been an even match.

In light of yesterday's results, this seems crazy to me.Well there are two issues: (1) Who are the best teams, and (2) Which teams have earned a spot? Clearly Ohio State is among the best four teams. But also...it's highly questionable as to whether they earned the spot, having played just six games. Maybe it's not their fault (it's certainly not the PLAYERS' fault), but the Big Ten cancelled their season, and I have to believe they did so thinking they were on the leading edge of a nationwide curve. But when the SEC and ACC, etc., were playing and the Big Ten saw what they were losing (recruits and more importantly, $$$$$$$), they caved and restarted. Well...should a Big Ten team deserve to get in if that's how the Big Ten Conference handled it?
My only point is that there are two issues, and one can definitely hold that they are one of the best teams and yet didn't deserve to be in the playoffs, and it's not inconsistent to hold that position in this case.
I don't think you're understanding my point. I apologize if I'm not being clear. In light of yesterday's results, this seems crazy to me.
So you take out the 2nd best team in the country, make ND #3 and then slide Texas A&M in there? So that results in a team that got thrashed yesterday going to the finals? So now all three games in the playoffs are blowouts?
They woke up. Driving for the tying TD in the 4th.Indiana looking like they wish they were playing basketball. Just a sloppy performance.
Campbell and Fickell are getting huge gigs at some point.Purdy is fun to watch. Great job by Matt Campbell taking Iowa State to new heights.
They're really talented. They're just stupid and undisciplined.Aggies showing that they didn’t belong in playoff either.
