Beating the Fighting Purple Wizards in Austin is a reasonable ask. Can’t ask Maalik Murphy to carry the team so it’s going to need everyone to haul the load. Brooks and the defense will win this one.

Texas matches up pretty well with the wizards - they're porous against the run and aren't great at deep passes. KState and Iowa State terrify me still, though.

NIU's tight end is gigantic. He looks bigger than the tackles.

edit -- he might be a tackle. Someone's wearing #84 on the field but I don't see one listed on the roster.

I don’t understand how Ohio State is ahead of Michigan, let alone Georgia and Washington.

As always, this stuff will eventually sort itself out.
Totally. As CFB fans we have collectively been wringing our hands and tearing our hair out over the rankings since the beginning of time because it’s fun. But the only rankings that really mean anything are the last two. My guys have been the beneficiary of the system (2005) and a loser in it (2008), but ultimately the rankings rarely get it wrong. One of Brutus and Meat Chicken will lose guaranteed, and Washington seems unlikely to escape unblemished, so there will likely be at least one one-loss team in the playoff. Let the chaos begin!

Clemson's season is already lost, but I think this one will be interesting.

Probably has something to do with Michigan playing a bunch of chumps like Idiot U, Loser Agriculture & Mechanical, St Punchy of Ignatius, and Palooka State.

I would’ve had Michigan at #5, as they’ve had the easiest schedule by far among P5 unbeatens.

Of course, it’s moot — if they win the B1G or beat both PSU and tOSU, they’re in; if they don’t do one of those things, they’re out.

Behind Washington, Georgia and FSU, (and Oregon) sure

I have them at 7
Still ahead of tOSU though (until they get trounced in 3 weeks at The Big House at home)

Notre Dame sneaky sucks. Any “quality” win over them should come with a boulder of salt. They really should have lost to Duke and a loss today would have made them 6-4.

They do not suck. They should have lost to Duke but should have beaten OSU.

I agreed with you going into today. This Clemson team isn’t very good and is beating the hell out of them minus the RB.
This is at Clemson right. That’s a good home field advantage.

Noles had a hell of a time there this year

Idk what is up with Dabo’s guys

Yep at Clemson. I’m all about Clemson losing because I think he’s a schmuck, but these past few years have been surprising even to me. Their old QB looks pretty good out in Oregon State?

Folks that track NCAAF better, any chance Mizz pulls this out? LSU?

That should've been a penalty on the OSU safety and a first and goal for Rutgers instead of a pick 6. I'd be furious if I was a Rutgers fan.

Edit: no matter what Steratore says.
