Michigans pressure and coverage has completely knocked Penix out of his comfort zone all night. Credit to them for sustaining it.
Someone in the 'Draft Pick Watch Thread' said that there is no gap between Penix and Williams. That was a crazy thing to say, but now people can see what Penix looks like with rushers in his face like Williams had all year.

Caleb got done worse than this at ND whose D was good but not as good as UM.
The best, right? The PA guy is kinda annoying but it’s better than constant talking.
His offensive line and skill players were significantly worse and that game was on the road. This is a neutral site even if it's mostly Michigan fans.
He has taken a seasons worth of punishment in one night.
In both playoff games Michigan’s quickness on the edge and the corners has been decisive. No answers.

Michigan just pounded Washington and their D kept a flame throwing QB off balance and out of sync all night, making him throw bad passes, rushing him, hitting him, being physical with his receivers, and getting key turnovers.
Washington is Indy - flashy offense totally stifled by a hard-hitting defense, unable to contend with Michigan's physicality.
