Typical Montreal.3 PP goals within 4 minutes for Detroit
Wait. What?
Typical Montreal.3 PP goals within 4 minutes for Detroit
It's been like that almost the entire game. That shift was better
You said earlier the Krejci line were playing like "passengers". But keep jumping on whatever I post. It's been like that almost the entire game.
The desperation is there. They are out shooting the Devils 34-15 this game. Attempts are 33-12 in the 2nd and 3rd period. D is pinching like crazy now. Can't really do much more. Just need to somehow get one to go in.
Yes and the Bruins still have dominated the game. It's been a complete one sided possession game despite guys (spread among different lines mind you) who weren't playing as well as they could have. You said earlier the Krejci line were playing like "passengers". But keep jumping on whatever I post.
Did kinkaid touch it? I thought it went over his shoulder and off the top of the net, but I could be wrong.Shouldn't the save have negated the high stick?
I thought it hit the net not Kincaid.Shouldn't the save have negated the high stick?
Ok, but I was just referring to the Krejci line finally having some sustained pressure. The Bruins have outplayed New Jersey for sure. They've been done in by two power plays.Yes and the Bruins still have dominated the game. Huh, I thought it pretty clearly went off his shoulder. No matter.Did kinkaid touch it? I thought it went over his shoulder and off the top of the net, but I could be wrong.
I know I told you then no one was worrying about their playoff chances. What an incredibly frustrating season.
I know it isn't over yet, but two weeks ago it certainly didn't feel like they should be fighting for their playoff lives right now.
Ha, don't worry about it. I feel like I'm the one who started this shit, so the apologies should be mine.I know I told you then no one was worrying about their playoff chances.
I was dead wrong. My apologies.
I think it will and like you I think that would be a shame. This is on the front office for this shit-tastic D core.Do people think if they miss the playoffs that it costs Claude his job seeing as it was so close to happening last year? I don't think he deserves it after what he got out of this mess of a team, but I'm worried he will be gone.

Emelin had one called back in the first few mins of the period I believe. Least that's what ESPN scoretracker had. They did?
EDIT--they did!
To a garbage goalie no less.Shots were 40-15, and they lost. Unreal.
Against a goalie who sported a 6+ GAA in his last 3 starts. The B's lack of finishing made him look like Brodeur.Shots were 40-15, and they lost. Unreal.
It would be a giant step backwards. Tough to have very much confidence in the front office.I think it will and like you I think that would be a shame. This is on the front office for this shit-tastic D core.
I do have confidence in Keith Gretzky though. Their prospect system is stocked. It would be a giant step backwards. Tough to have very much confidence in the front office.
He did. Goaltender interference. It is now, however, 4-3 DouchebagsEmelin had one called back in the first few mins of the period I believe. Least that's what ESPN scoretracker had.
Very good point. Really hope the Sinden elements remain on the fringes. That nugget that he was back in the door a bit from last summer still frightens me.I do have confidence in Keith Gretzky though. Their prospect system is stocked.
Long term they are in better shape than they were last year, I think. But I wish they'd just commit to the long term and not try to split the middle (and fail at both).Claude's probably least responsible for this mess. Shame if he's scapegoated.
Cam Neely, front office executive, scares the ever living shit out of me. They set unrealistic expectations this year. I'm not sure if it was Cam or a mandate from Jacobs, but the bar was set too high. Sweeney's early work has been mixed bag but I lean towards him having some level of competence. It's hard to know who has been the driving force behind the moves that have been made, Cam or Don. I would've been more accepting of this season if they had admitted that this was a work in progress.
I agree with all that. I think that if they had removed the expectations that Neely and co. set on them, they could've played and developed guys like Colin Miller and Joe Morrow more. Sink or swim with them instead of this balancing act where Miller's relegated to Providence and Morrow is going to end the year with less than 40 games played.Long term they are in better shape than they were last year, I think. But I wish they'd just commit to the long term and not try to split the middle (and fail at both).
I agree that Neely is terrifying. I just retweeted someone that they're gonna fire the only GM and coach to bring them a Stanley Cup in last 40 years within consecutive seasons. It's scary.
