This is more of a necessity than a preference. Why would you want to watch a bunch of stiffs?
Sure. If it’s too packed, there are a bunch of other sports bars on 15 and Samson and Locust.
Are they still putting up those ridiculous quotes, or did they stop after the $100 makeup/facial one.So we went to Smith’s. They put the game on in the back room with the sound, which was great. They also happened to be having a charity raffle in between the first and second period that A) raised money for cancer research, and B) saw several of us walk away with prizes like a golf bag, a bottle of whiskey, a new cooler, a bar tools set, and a charcoal grill (the winner of the grill gave it away to one of the regular so he wouldn’t have to fly home with it). Only downside was the Bruins lost.
I didn't notice any. It was a good bar--I'd go back. Are they still putting up those ridiculous quotes, or did they stop after the $100 makeup/facial one.
Mountain High Pizza Pie looks to be a Penguins restaurant/bar but they have a TV and beer. So there's that.Uh, anyone know a good hockey bar in Talkeetna, Alaska?
