The schedule has been crap all year. Long layoffs then three in four nights, I am not that surprised they have been so hot and cold all year.
Everyone's schedule has been shitty. It's the product of playing all the teams in the league home and away. That shouldn't be an excuse. It's the roster. It's just not that good.

There's just no urgency at all from the Bruins. It's like they don't care. Ottawa against Pitt was flying all over the place when their season was on the line.

The Bruins suck, but it sure would have been nice to get teams who did not care about the game. Instead of a team who wants to end your season on fresh legs.

Claude hasn't been able to motivate this team for like 80% of this season. I don't know if it's his fault or the players', but that's usually a good sign that there needs to be a coaching change.

I don't know if Seidenberg has been within 5 feet of his man in the past 5 games.

Well it's been fun Pete & Claude.
As pissed as we all are right now, the only reason this should happen is if there are better people available now. If Pittsburgh has taught us nothing else, it's this.

What?

Maybe they shouldn't have played like dogshit for 2/3's of the season and wrapped up a spot by now.

Well, I guess that's about that.  Too bad.  I thought they played really well in stretches this team, but I personally think they just aren't that talented top to bottom.  They are what they are, a bubble team, and sometimes the bubble bursts on you.  95-100 points probably gets you in most years, but when other teams seemingly want it more down the stretch, I guess this shouldn't be that unexpected.

The Rangers vs. the Panthers on fresh legs. I'm bitter about the season and even with all their flaws the B's have gotten few breaks all year while it seems like Ottawa has gotten them the entire second half of the season

I disagree on the coaching front. I like Claude, but there should probably be a scenery change, kind of like with Francona.

Wouldn't fire Pete just yet, but I'm a little tempted to usher out Claude.

Kinda sucks Lavi got picked off by the Preds. He has a short shelf life but he's generally good.

To be fair though, do you think this Bruins team that showed up tonight would have beaten the Rangers tonight, regardless of how fresh their legs were or weren't?

This feels a lot like game 7 vs. TOR in 2013.  That game likely saved Claude's job.
Don't think he has another miracle coming.

You are right, probably not. It is all just so disappointing,
