Here I was spending the last hour mocking myself for caring so much about the yanks losing this game when they're at least putting up a fight, but hot damn that is a brutal game to lose.

defense at catcher is going to be a big plus for the Fighting Franconas, should the two teams leading advance.

Impressive to win a game when you allow 8 R in the first 5 innings in a game started by the CY

Lindor has been so, so huge for them this season. He's the guy who's been up seemingly in every big spot.

Tito and Theo! What might have been.
What would a pie chart of blame look like, when trying to represent the reasons why Tito and Theo are no longer here?

In Theo's case, I'd guess the biggest piece goes to Lucchino, and Tito's case, sizeable chunks for Beckett, Lackey, Crawford.

IDK but beer and chicken in the clubhouse always seemed like a sort of afterthought kind of excuse. My guess, and it's only that really, is that Lucchino's ego won out and Henry seems content now.

I have friends who are fans of other teams who text me like tonight still asking me why the eff Tito and Theo are not with the Sox. It's maddening!

Theo is because of Theo. He made a power play for Lucchino's job and lost. So he left. There is no blame there--he wanted a new challenge.

I forgot what a meaningful baseball playoff game was like. Good to see a team that just doesn’t roll over and take it.

And about Tito I don’t see the big deal. He’s never won back to back AL East titles!!!

God the Sox are so screwed...

Every time I doubt Cleveland management (Tito or Antonetti) they prove me wrong. Tito on Tomlin: "He's got major league balls"... I didn't even want the Little Cowboy on the playoff roster.

Sure but you could argue Henry made the wrong decision considering Larry is now gone and Theo was given the job he wanted from the Sox by the Cubs and has been nothing short of awesome for them.

So maybe Henry gets 80% blame.

I mean choosing Larry one Theo isn't a good look and gets worse by the year. Dammit, I'm mad.
