Looks like these guys are the Roman/Teel/Zack Kelly replacements in Greenville:

Maceo Campbell is semi-interesting, but in general a couple promotions would have been more fun.

So while thinking Drohan is next makes a lot of sense from a historic perspective, I think it makes sense to go back to a 6-man rotation & getting everyone an extra day makes sense. Unless they're straight shutting Drohan down or something, but I think getting more work & trying to continue to work through things should be good. So I neither fault SoxProspects for their prediction, or the Red Sox for going this route.

Kelly is kinda fun because he's a MLB pitcher & all, but there's not a lot he can do in his inning or two of A-Ball which has the potential to inspire.

CJ Liu continues to struggle. Starts the game with a single & a 2-run homer (& then a walk).

Technically only 2 of the 6 were earned as Tyler McDonough made an error ar 3B. It's a bit odd that they're playing him at 3B & Meidroth at SS, but I guess it's going to be not great regardless with Bonaci & Mayer out.

The only starter not to allow at least 1 run in the 1st was the inimitable Rob Kwiatkowski (1-2-3 inning with a k).

Kwiatkowski lost his perfect game & his no hitter on a single, but pitched through a 2nd scoreless inning & picked up his 2nd strikeout.

Allan Castro doubled, got to 3rd on a wild pitch, & scored on a Bryan Gonzalez to get MiLB Sox on the board.

Still losing 11-1. But Greenville is winning 1-0.

Fogell pitched 1.2 innings with an unearned run, a walk & 2 wild pitches.

Jose Ramirez came in & pitched a 1-2-3 3rd & should hopefully be in for a while.

CJ Liu's final line was 3.2 innings, 6 runs, 2 ER, 6 hits, 3 walks, 1 WP, 4 strikeouts.

Cody Scroggins got the last out of the 4th in his 1st game since August 5th with Salem, & his 1st game for Portland since April 18th.

He was a 2019 9th rounder.

Despite the far superior nickname, they took Kwiatkowski out after 2.2 innings, 1 run, 2 hits & 2 strikeouts to bring in Jordan DiValerio, who allowed a solo homer to the 1st hitter he faced before getting out of the 3rd

Their other 3 starters are 20 (Perales), 20 (Monegro) & 22 (Rogers).
