Eddinson Paulino has been on a bit of a tear lately. I'll pull some #s later if I have time. He was 2-3 with 2 doubles & a walk today.

Since July 30th, Eddinson Paulino is 32-94 with 9 doubles, 4 homers, 15 walks, & 22 strikeouts.

During that 29-game stretch, he's slashing .340/.431/.564 for a .995 OPS.

During that 13-game stretch, he's slashing .400/.444/.580 with a 1.024 OPS.

Castro is Rule V eligible. Not quite good enough and far enough away from ready to protect and that it doesn’t seem likely another team will take him and hold him on the bench in the majors for a good part of the year.
However, he’s also good enough that I will be nervy until the draft is over.

He's definitely making himself interesting. He's kind of in the Bonaci tier at this point.

In the bottom of the 3rd, Meidroth & Yorke started the inning with b2b doubles to extend Portland's lead to 4-1.

Dalbec somewhat tanking his off season trade value.

On July 26th after the 1st game of a doubleheader, he was hitting .300. After his 2nd strikeout of the day, he's hitting .269.

During that time period he has been 23-115 with 1 double, 1 triple & 7 homers. He has 21 walks & 49 strikeouts.

During that time frame he is slashing .200/.324/.383 for a .707 OPS.

That lowered his OPS on the season from 1.041 to .948.

Hunter Dobbins had a very similar game... except without the bullpen support. Dobbins allowed a lead off homer & that was it. But he left with 1 out in the 6th & runners on 1st & 2nd, & Brendan Cellucci let both runners score.

Dobbins' final line:

4 strikeouts

96 pitches, 61 strikes.

Booser pitched 1.1 innings with a hit, a walk & 4 strikeouts.

Zack Weiss came in for the last out of the 7th, & struck the guy out. Just brainstorming, but he might want to change it to Zach as we've had a lot of luck with Zachs lately & his name is technically Zachary.

Maybe they would have waited until after the game. Fernandez allowed a solo homer (& 2 other hits) in the 8th. 5-3.

Miller allowed a hit in a scoreless 8th & Alex Hoppe pitched a 1-2-3 9th.

Portland won 8-3.

Tyler Dearden was 3-4 with 2 doubles.

Nathan Hickey was 1-3 with a homer (15) & a hbp.

Matthew Lugo was 2-4 with a double.

Alex Binelas was 2-4.

Chase Meidroth was 1-4 with a double, a walk & a steal (8).

Nick Yorke was 1-4 with a double.
