According to my chart, Rogers is before Penrod, but looks like they're maybe pitching Penrod on 4 days rest so Rogers can have his usual 6.

I have Elvis on my chart for Salem.

I was curious about Song's velocity last night and see that Ian Cundall of SP reported his FB sat 89-93. Despite only giving up one hit, which is certainly good news, I also noticed that his % strikes was lousy and Cundull wrote "Delivery is a work in progress...Arm gets out of sync & inconsistent release point". So far, it's hard to be overly excited about his return to the Sox and future

Yeah. The fact that he has a sub-3 ERA while lacking control, not having his velocity & not striking people out is kind of impressive in its own way?

How he starts next year will be telling.

It was the only one of my wild promotions musings to actually come true, too. I think he'll pitch on Friday, hopefully to Teel & hopefully with Roman in the lineup. That would make me happy.

I guess it makes sense if they are still out there doing baseball activities even if they aren't currently playing games. Lee is 18 & recently signed for $300k, foregoing the KBL draft.

So far today Liu has gotten 4 outs, while allowing 4 walks, 3 steals, 2 hits & 2 runs.

Seems suboptimal.

Drohan had a walk & hit a guy in the 1st, cuz why not? But no runs in the 1st.

Drohan walked 3 more in the 2nd inning & has 50 pitches & 23 strikes through 2 innings... but no runs.

Add a throwing error to Drohan's wildness over the 1st 2 innings.

Speaking of wildness, Worcester has 2 hits in the 1st 2 innings, & their opponents have 3 errors already. But it's still 0-0.
