BVB is trying to join the guys who get lots of strikeouts club.

He allowed a solo homer in the 1st, but has pitched 3 innings & gotten 7 strikeouts.

Messy 5th.

BVB (#56) had been pitching ok through 4, just allowing 2 solo homers, but in the 5th he went hbp, homer, walk, walk.

They brought in Brendan Nail (#82) & things didn't get much better.

Groundout, run scoring wild pitch, Yu Chang error, walk, steal, strikeout.

They brought Ryan Fernandez (#35) in to get the final out of the 5th. 7-6 Worcester.

WooSox add one on 3 walks, a balk, a steal & a passed ball, not necessarily in that order.

Ronaldo Hernandez popped out while I was typing that. Then Fitzgerald walked...it's Worcester's 11th walk of the game.

C Note just got a line drive hit on an 0-2 pitch that looked about a foot outside on the pitch tracker.

After a Caleb Hamilton ground rule double. It looks like Rafaela took 2nd when they threw to the plate to prevent Hamilton from scoring.

Hope we get video of Rafaela's 8th inning single because according to Gameday the pitch was in the other batter's box.

Wikelman is having significant problems with Blaze's less fiery but more boisterous "brother" Rowdey Jordan (2-run homer & 2-rbi single).

Wikelman (#8) is actually done after 2.2 innings, 4 runs on 2 hits, 4 walks & 2 strikeouts.

Ryan Miller (#243) came in & allowed a hit but then got the last out of the inning.

Not sure what's going on, but maybe Elih Marrero is hurt? It shows Hickey from DH to catcher & Wikelman into the batting order for Marrero (even though he isn't even in the game anymore).

Miller allowed an unearned run in the 4th on a walk, a steal where Hickey threw the ball into CF, & then the CF, Sikes made another error failing to field Hickey's throw, allowing the runner to score.
