Well, that was entertaining, wasn't it?

I mean, you could just tell the Bruins were intimidated by the electric atmosphere of that legendary hockey barn, the Canadian Tire Centre. Let's get a look at it after the Sens went up 2-0:

Try as they did, though, the Sens and their "fans" couldn't contain a kid fresh from Providence via the University of Miami. No, not that Miami, the shitty one in Ohio. And now, Ottawa's gotta come into this building:

Man, that was just a capitulation of a play by Tampa. I wonder who taught them how to play like that?

Fuckin' right, oops.

Fuck J. G. Pageau, a guy whose name stirs memories of shitty commercials about structured settlements.

Fuck Kyle Turris, a player that couldn't be a big fish in the hockey hotbed of Phoenix, so he pushed himself out of town to Ottawa. Great trade there, eh buddy?

Fuck Erik Karlsson and his sensitive legs for having to actually skate more than 30 minutes.

Fuck Mike Stone, the definition of generic.

And fuck Alexandre Burrows, because forever fuck Alexandre Burrows.

Bearataur has claimed his first victim in Ryan Dzingel. Who's next?

Spooner could be a scratch tonight. Fluto has the morning skate lines as:

Marchand - Bergeron - Backes
Stafford - Krejci - Pastrnak
Moore - Nash - Acciari
Schaller - Kuraly - Vatrano
I have not seen much of him play, so this is definitely a question and not criticism, but if you're sitting Spooner should JFK be an option?
This post made for consistency reasons only.

I'm thinking that Karlsson never takes a physical beating on the ice the way he slips checks and sees the ice, etc. I'm wondering if it makes sense for the Bruins to resurrect the Chara in the crease strategy for powerplays (should the refs actually call any in favor of the Bruins). It wouldn't take much out of Chara I don't think and it might give him a chance to at least tire Karlsson (6 foot and 190 lbs) out with a bit of crease play. I think I'd do it even if I had to take another shift or two from Chara elsewhere. Maybe it's a foolish thought, I'm just trying to make Karlsson work a bit more. Maybe we can get some of that from Belesky...

Go Bruins...

Krejci out; Beleskey in. Hard to figure out how they'll line things up, but here's my guess:

Marchand - Bergeron - Pastrnak
Kuraly - Backes - Stafford
Schaller - Nash - Acciari
Beleskey - Moore - Vatrano

PP is the only time Chara gets off given they need him badly on the PK without Carlo or McQuaid.

Also, would be nice for Rask to step up and win a game for once.

For this game, I'll take Belesky over Spooner. Bruins are going to play a lot of chip and chase against the 1-3-1 and if Belesky has a skill it's playing in the corners and along the wall.

I will be boarding my plane home after a great day with the kids yesterday, right as this one kicks off.

I would like good news on the other side.

I know right? It's been a whole two days since he's done that. And a whole 9 days before that since he did it 2 times ago. What an overpaid stiff he is.

I really think the backbreaker was the game the offense scored 0 goals. They likely would have taken that one with someone better than Tuukka in net.

Schaller - Kuraly - Backes
Vatrano - Acciari - Stafford
Moore - Nash - Beleskey

Been lurking for a long time. Got my ass out to the local bar to watch this one. Crush this fraudulent Sens squad.

I always think that Rene runs off the ice, heads right to his car and is home drinking a beer by the end of the first period.
