I thought they pulled within 3 after a 4th quarter 3 by someone (Trae?).They never gave up the lead. Never even got it to a single possession I believe.
Edit: No, I'm thinking of 100-96...4 points.

To me it's not just the contact.. it's also the mean mug kind of look like he's attempting to threaten him that will get him suspended.i think there is a chance he gets a game because he came all the way across the court, but we really don't want them to start going by the letter of the law on that considering Tatum gave Petraitas a push when he got up to yell at Zarba after that Young push under the basket.
Edit- I do think they are different, and it's a good use of the NBA ignoring letter of the law on official contact. Those types like Tatum's where the ref kinda angles into your way because he's worried you might be getting up to go after an opponent, they let some stuff slide. Murray's is the type of thing they want to litigate with the rules, where you seek out contact with a ref away from the play and do it because you're unhappy with him.
yeah, that was kind of what i mean, if you go out of your way to bump the ref and get in his face you likely get a game. i was more noting that it's good that the league allows for grey on 'contact with an official" because there are very different situations and you don't want it to be like the leaving the bench rule.To me it's not just the contact.. it's also the mean mug kind of look like he's attempting to threaten him that will get him suspended.
Agreed... in the Tatum case it seemed like the ref was trying to get in Tatum's way.. like you said. Tatum shoved him aside by definition.. but it was more to say that he wasn't going after Trae and just wanted to talk to the crew chief.yeah, that was kind of what i mean, if you go out of your way to bump the ref and get in his face you likely get a game. i was more noting that it's good that the league allows for grey on 'contact with an official" because there are very different situations and you don't want it to be like the leaving the bench rule.

ATL cut it to 90-87 (Bogie 3P) right before 3Q ended but Smart had the dunk to put them up 5 and ATL never got to one possession after that. They never gave up the lead. Never even got it to a single possession I believe.
Not an NCIS marathon kind of guy? That was the most enjoyable 6 hour stretch of watching TNT I will likely ever have.
Suspended for one game.Should be an auto suspension here, not that it will:
