I can't help but to wonder what went through Herb Chambers' mind when this lineup was posted.
Wong and McGuire have 4 homes runs. This is the same number as Bryce Harper.

Saw we were up 1-0, and then saw the lineup. Wow. We've fielded some ugly lineups in the last 4 years but this one has to be on the short list for the worst. Prove me wrong y'all!
On 3-2 last night he struck out on a called third strike.
Of course it was a minor miracle that he got to three balls.
I still kind of cannot believe that Story is really out for the entire season, basically before it even really got going.

51 year old Manny would be hitting 3rd or 4th in this lineup. The real shame is that he probably can't play SS
Nice first-out play by Abreu with Valdez being in the right spot as the cut-off man. I really do think the team is better on a lot of the defensive fundamentals this year.
I'm going to disagree here. When the 2B fields the ball behind the bag like that in that situation the SS goes to cover 2B.
Seems like a weird spot for a challenge overall - 2 outs and contesting a man on first in the 4th.

One of the things I'd really like to have in replay is for the crew on the field to communicate with the reviewing booth about what they saw. If the 1BU says he was looking at the feet and saw the foot touch, then I'm not over-ruling without very clear evidence. But if he says, "you know what, I wasn't focused on his feet because it was a high throw," then I know that I shouldn't defer as much. I know the rules say it's supposed to be indisputable or whatever but before I go defering to the ump on the field, I want to know what he saw or didn't.
This is a very pedantic point and I don't feel nearly as strongly as I think I'm coming across. But it would be nice for the booth to have the info and input from the guy who made the call in the field before applying a high burden.
