Took them an understandable second to feel it out, but these ladies on the broadcast have been amazing, especially in the 2nd half with Abby leading the charge

The PBP person is really good. I'm an Abby fan, she had a slow start but has been very good driving the discussion in second half. The WNBA player needs to more comfortable sharing - Abby has drawn her out some in second half but she's been very quiet.

I have very much enjoyed this team. everyone is likeable. kornet is hilarious. they play really pleasing basketball and with good effort most nights. I know its against the worst team but its like our D team out there and they still are destroying these guys.

Yeah Abby bailed them out a few times by being the only one there who knew anything about the Celtics. DiJonai Carrington clearly knew ball and was quick with a thought (went to Stanford!), but didn't know much about the players and was very hesitant to interject (which is apparently a really hard cadence to learn, according to Tony Romo...). Zora Stephenson didn't really add anything, but I'm sure she had fun. I liked Burton.

Wouldn't mind Abby in the booth a few more times, if she wants to. Send Scal on some wild goose chases for a change.

Just saw the box score and saw only 6 min for KP and my heart sunk. Seems to be okay I guess? Any explanation from the team?
I'm now starting to wonder if Joe actually forgot KP was active in the 2nd quarter to explain the no minutes
Ha. If I were guessing they are working on his conditioning ---some longer blows, and this stretch playing straight through a quarter plus, and in 1-2 minutes he's done for the night
I think Mazzulla just answered this in his press conference: that KP "got the minutes he needed to get" and then they got him out of there. I read that as "he made it to 20 minutes to make it count towards his 65" (he ended at 21:29), and then they considered it job-done for him.

KP won’t get to 65 games this year—I think the minutes “he needed to get” were strictly an internal metric.

Springer, Brissett and Tillman seem like each are great 1 on 1 defensive stoppers.
But they are some really bad shooters.

Springer can really move his feet. I can see why Boston grabbed him. The shooting isn’t good, but he’s young. Boson might not be the right spot for a wing with only one top skill, so he will have to shoot better to have a rotation spot role here in the future

It really illustrates how tough the NBA is. Tillman, in particular does so many great things but he can be unplayable with certain lineups and against certain teams given his busted shot.

If he learns to shoot the corner three, he’s PJ Tucker. Maybe even a rich man’s PJ Tucker.

Right. Im not saying their skills are etched in concrete forever.
And, as noted above one-skill reserves like this are perfect for a team like this years celtics.
