Would've been nice for Krug to end his streak there.

Couple of brutal defensive lapses cost them. As bad as the officiating was, they didn't take their chance on the PP.

That game was the opposite of enjoyable. Whatever that is.

Am I the only one who is not at all comfortable about the Bruins' playoff chances right now?

Seriously they should fucking waive him. Hope someone takes the last two years of his deal. The guy is useless.
I keep telling myself the cap relief was worth it. Then I see that Smith has 23-21-44 and wonder maybe not.

Oh and Krug's shooting percentage is now at 1.4%. Wow.

They could very well come out of this trip with 0-1 points considering the strength of Anaheim and LA and the fact that it's a back to back Friday/Saturday. Honestly though, I don't think that's altogether a negative.

They're going to make the playoffs barring an unbelievably collapse (which I don't think they have in them). They've shown they can play with good teams in the West. As shitty as yesterday's game was, I'm pretty optimistic.

I agree, and it highlights how massive the previous stretch of points was for them. If they hadn't done that, then they would be in trouble.

Get 2 out of the next 4 points and I think they're ok.

I'd still do that deal strictly for the cap relief. They dumped Savard's contract and I'm fine with not paying Riley Smith what his current cap hit. Just getting out of those two contracts alone was worth taking a flyer on Hayes at $2.3 million on the cap.

I think what worries me is that all of the teams behind the Bruins have games in hand (hell some of them have 3) so the 8 points that they are ahead of the 9 seed right now feels a lot smaller than that. I'm probably just a pessimist, but it's hard not to be after last year's collapse.
