I googled this but didn't want to get too deep into results and the first few were basically "restart" and "make sure all connections are good."
Anyhow, here's what's happening. I started a new position this week and it's 100% remote. The new company provided a Lenovo yoga laptop and I have a second monitor hooked up via and HDMI cable to it. (through a hub). I couldn't connect the monitor directly tot he machine as it only has 2 USB - C ports and 1 USB port (that i have my wireless mouse / keyboard hooked into).
The 2nd monitor works when I have the computer shut down and restart. If i get up for a bit during the day and the computer goes to sleep, the monitor does as well and when i return, the 2nd monitor will say "no signal"
Just wondering if the collective expertise here can help or if it's just as simple as i will always need to shut down.
