He's had some good hitting seasons recently too, most especially this year. I remember when he came up, the local talk radio boys were saying if he could only hit .250, he's such a great fielder...Brandon Crawford is insane

All 4 series going 4 games seems statistically significant so I agree Dodgers win the game tonight to push it 5I'm all in on the Dodgers tonight, because I'd like to see this series go to the limit.
He took offense?Mookie took the postseason offense comments on SOSH personal.
No, he really doesn't. James Woods, maybe.Ron Darling sounds just like Jerry Seinfeld. It‘s uncanny.
I love it. Continuity is the essence of the poeticism of humanity. Such as it is.How jarring is it to hear them talking about Yastrzemski in the outfield? For some of us old farts, the effect is like Proust’s madeleines.
The first run will be huge. The Friday crowd was raucous because Posey homered in the first inning. On Saturday the Dodgers jumped out to a lead in the 2nd and the Giants never caught up.Thursday will be interesting. The crowd on Saturday was nervous and the Dodgers took them out of it. Friday was a much more raucous crowd and the Giants seemed to feed off of the energy. I hope they just go crazy. Its a do or die game but you may get a lot of casual fans who are there because the Giants are a thing right now.
I do love the fact, though, that you've got two stellar young pitchers starting the game. For those of you that caught the post-game show, I love Pedro with all my heart, but his prediction that Game 5 was going to be a pitcher's duel seem circular.
It is going to be must see TV, but Pedro basically guaranteed it for no other reason than that he said so. Now, the caveat to this is I fell asleep during the game and woke up while he was talking so he may very well have opened with stats and analytics, but it wasn't what he ended with.I do love the fact, though, that you've got two stellar young pitchers starting the game.
I was watching and when Pedro said he was rooting for Dusty Baker to get to the World Series, he took a piece of my heart. For those of you that caught the post-game show, I love Pedro with all my heart, but his prediction that Game 5 was going to be a pitcher's duel seem circular.
But did I get it right? Or did he say more than what I saw. What I saw gave me the vibe of an old WWF promo.I was watching and when Pedro said he was rooting for Dusty Baker to get to the World Series, he took a piece of my heart.
I was half asleep, but it was in his "Who's My Daddy" bit and Dusty was his daddy, and Pedro is apparently is close to the guy, which is cool, and said he hoped Dusty gets to the World Series. But as I assume he knows that path runs through us.But did I get it right? Or did he say more than what I saw. What I saw gave me the vibe of an old WWF promo.
This made me laugh. I think that's exactly where I woke up. "Who's Your Daddy" must be a shared trigger.I was half asleep, but it was in his "Who's My Daddy" bit and Dusty was his daddy, and Pedro is apparently is close to the guy, which is cool, and said he hoped Dusty gets to the World Series. I cried myself to sleep.
Like Seinfeld, only if Jerry had a bad cold and was talking with something in his mouth. I can't stand Darling's voice. No, he really doesn't. James Woods, maybe.
I agree. Knebel pitched 2 innings in an outing once all year and rarely pitches more than 1 inning at a time.Dodgers are starting Knebel. Giants shouldn't blink and keep their lineup the same as if Urias is starting.

The managing choices this series have been fascinating. These aren't old school chaw in your cheek Gerbil tactics. This is essentially a bunch of people trying to out-hack one another.Does this sound familiar?

That's pretty clever if Urias is going to come in after him. Unless Knebel gets lit up and it blows up in their face.Dodgers are starting Knebel. Giants shouldn't blink and keep their lineup the same as if Urias is starting.
I hope he walks the first three batters, gets pulled, and Urias comes in and gives up a grand slam. But that's just me.An interesting time, to say the least, to try this.
I assume he means since they moved to California, because 1951 seems like at least as big a game...and those teams had identical records.
That was his follow-up tweet:I assume he means since they moved to California, because 1951 seems like at least as big a game...and those teams had identical records.
Maybe that one is diminished in the eyes of Dodger folks because of the outcome?
