i tend to think about this in terms of narratives and how they relate to the era and the pats dynasty. so the least offensive thing for me would be for some plucky team that i don't hate to get a fluky win and then probably slide back to mediocrity. candidates: vikings, titans, texans.
i wouldn't mind a SF win, i like jimmy G, but would rather keep the pats at the top of the heap in terms of total SB wins.
GB, NO and SEA all fall in the category of don't actively hate, but don't really want to see them get another ring for random subjective & narrative reasons. i think brees is lowkey fash and would prefer to keep him as far from brady as possible in the rings category. still resentful of the rodgers hype and think he's overrated. SEA, eh i guess i'm just used to hating them from a few super bowls back and find their fans irritating, i don't even really care that much if they win again. wilson is getting less annoying over time. whatever.
i'm torn about KC because i like and respect andy reid, feel like he should get a ring before it's all said and done, like mahomes, but hate the fanbase and they have some true dirtbags in the supporting cast.
i hate BAL so fucking much as a franchise, and hate harbaugh, but i love lamar jackson and can't even really find much to hate about this year's team beyond the laundry and the coach.
PHI, fuck those guys for sure, definitely don't want to see them luckbox their way into a second ring with this regime and have to deal with another shitty NFC east fanbase with an inflated opinion of itself for another decade.
bottom line, with PIT and DAL out, i won't be that mad about anyone except PHI. everyone else is fine, or only mildly annoying, or, in the case of KC and BAL, i could at least find a silver lining.
