Corbin is expected to start game 1 after Strasburg went 3 innings tonight. I assume Ryu will oppose him. 8:37pm Thursday for game 1, a TBS series.

I'm a bit in shock that you are watching yet another baseball game.I'm a bit in shock that Asdrubal Cabrera had 91 RBIs in 447 ABs this year.
He's just trying to gauge who the Gashouse Gorillas are going to bludgeon as they march towards another WS title, like the German army marching through Europe from 1939 til 1941 before the shit hit the fan at the gates of Moscow.I'm a bit in shock that you are watching yet another baseball game.
Actually, I am not in shock. I just worry that your TV show queue may grow to be untenable this month.
Heh, I skipped the bulk of the first game as it looked pretty boring, this series is much more compelling to me. Also, as you know, these are games I can actually enjoy (if they're enjoyable), watching your team in the MLB postseason is stressful.I'm a bit in shock that you are watching yet another baseball game.

Nats only have one hit too. Got the bases loaded on walks but couldn't get anyone across.Really weird game so far. La up 1 after 3 despite being hit less.
College football games are routinely 4 or 4 1/2 hours, I reject this thesis. To me the biggest issue with postseason baseball not coming across quite as exciting as it is is that the announcers are generalists who are rarely insightful, I think each game should have one announcer from each team.So the one problem that baseball has is the way meaningful games are managed. Pitching changes mean long games and long games mean most people who aren't fanatics just end up not giving af.
I don't think its the announcers. Its the sport and pace of play. Most of the little league kids who we have playing fall baseball (so kids whose favorite sport is baseball because there are lots of other fall sports) simply don't watch these games. Its not data but whenever I mention very good but not hugely popular players they simply don't know them. To be fair, I don't think they sit for entire college or NFL games either but if these kids are watching sports its the NBA or football.College football games are routinely 4 or 4 1/2 hours, I reject this thesis. the worst is about to begin. here comes fernando rodneyWhen you're relying on guys like Howie Kendrick or Mark Melancon, you're in trouble
What I said.On another note, Hunter Strickland is still a gascan.
Strickland is just here to eat innings. The dude had a ERA+ of 84 and he was helped bigly by moving to the National League midseason. He is a BP pitcher and nothing more.majestic blast.
you can see why the Nats avoided their pen in the WC game. they're going to need their offense to do a lot to win this series.
Sebring actually did a bat flip in that game. He did it with an actual mammal.Younger players than Lux to hit a home run in their first postseason game:
-Rougened Odor, 2015 ALDS, Game 1
-Brian McCann, 2005 NLDS, Game 2
-Jimmy Sebring, 1903 WS, Game 1
Why?I can't believe they put Strasburg out there for G2. And they'd probably throw him again in a theoretical Game 5.
Shhh. Don't you know that words typed on a messageboard with a server that Nip probably leases from some authoritarian dictator thousands of miles away from the mainland US can impact the outcome of a sporting event?Strasburg has no hit stuff tonight.
