I would like to subscribe to your newsletter.Huh Romeo, I kinda hate that. He's a smaller less athletic Jaylen, except instead of being a good defender he's a mediocre to bad one.
If you built a type of player I hate it would include a lot of Romeo Langford.... Ball stopping ISO guy, who is brutally inefficient, and has "mid-range game" as his best attribute. Also plays below the rim
Romeo's suit for Fulz might have been about fair.Romeo alone for Fultz would be a good trade.
No, but completely of guys between 6'5 and 6'8 maybe, and basically are all 2/3Some day, the Celtics roster will be completely guys who are 6-6
Came across as arrogant and not a kid who's going to work. Not a good one sentence impression. I could be totally wrong.Such charisma...lol.
Jeez, did his girlfriend break up with him 3 minutes before he was drafted? Is he a Lakers fan?
amusingly he shot better after he hurt his thumb.72% from the line with an injured thumb. Perhaps the outside shooting woes are fixable.
Surprised it wasn’t the French guy.
He tore a ligament in his thumb. He’s not harboring a bad back, an arthritic knee, or suffered a series of injuries or somethingI would like to subscribe to your newsletter.
This guy isn't either a shooter or a defender, without size, and with an injury history. Really don't understand the pick.
Would have preferred Goga or Bol or Clarke
What a waste of having 3 1stsDoes it really matter? It’s not a good draft.
I prefer having players without torn ligaments, apologies. He tore a ligament in his thumb. He’s not harboring a bad back, an arthritic knee, or suffered a series of injuries or something
I see what you did there. What are the salary capulet implications of adding Langford?
At 14? Sure, whatever, roll the dice and hope he develops a 3-pt shot. One big knock on Langford has been his shooting as a college freshman, but he played after November with a torn ligament in his shooting hand. That helped drag down his outside shooting percentages, which were an issue even before the 6-foot-6 wing entered college as one of the nation’s top recruits. Given the existing questions, NBA teams must decide whether Langford – well-regarded for his ability to put the ball in the hole – can develop into an efficient scorer, rather than a volume scorer, at the next level. If he can consistently knock down shots, he could become a big-time scorer, especially for a physically gifted wing who will likely be picked late in the lottery or beyond. Langford averaged 16.5 points as a freshman, but shot just 27.2 percent from behind the arc.
One thing to keep in mind with regard to the Celtics’ potential feelings toward Langford (or, really, any other prospect): The front office evaluates far more than the small sample size of a single college season. Langford’s production in high school, which left him with Rivals’ No. 6 ranking in his class, matters. Boston overlooked Jaylen Brown’s iffy freshman season at California partly because of all he accomplished at lower levels and he has rewarded the team by growing into a promising wing with a legitimate outside shot.
He gets to the line a lot. Shot 194 free throws (in 32 games) this season. Made 72 percent, as others have noted.72% from the line with an injured thumb. Perhaps the outside shooting woes are fixable.

I’m getting James Young vibes but hope I’m wrongLangford was a 5 star recruit out of HS. #7 overall recruit. Scored 3000 points in HS. He knows how to score. If they are going younger, it gives him time to develop.
I mean, who needs 3 point shooting these days.Huh Romeo, I kinda hate that. He's a smaller less athletic Jaylen, except instead of being a good defender he's a mediocre to bad one.

Drafting 18-19 year olds they are going to be "working hard" on some aspect of their game. They're one year removed from HS ball so not close to finished product.Tired of guys "that are working hard on their shot"
But where do the minutes come from unless they are moving one of Brown/SmartLangford was a 5 star recruit out of HS. #7 overall recruit. Scored 3000 points in HS. He knows how to score. If they are going younger, it gives him time to develop.
